Analysis Of Female Image In Yan Zhen’s Novels

Yan Zhen who is known as the academic male writer of contemporarylitrature,with his three novels-in the end of the world,the water of blue waves，because women，established his position in the contemporary literary world.In theprocess of the research of his novels,we deeply feel the rich connotation of the femaleimage in his works.Mainly speaking,there are three types of female image created byhim-superwomen who pursue interests hotly,sexy women who also have softmind,spoony women who are defeated by love.They all represent the women’ livingconditions in contemporary society:even if contemporary women escape form thefeudal system,they also have feeling of edge in the mind. In the male society, womencan’t grasp the happiness. However, under the male perspective female survival plightin Yan Zhen’novels is not comprehensive. Compared with the maleimage,women inhis novles are“weak”and“passive”.In Yan Zhen’ perspective,male image are strong,wisdom and bulling. We can clearly feel the patriarchal consciousness and thewrong view of women: care for women with male aesthetic and reduce the women’status in marriage.The reader thinks that there are threereasons which cause suchview-traditional view of women, natural gendertheory and criticize desiresocial.According to this thought,the article is divided into three chapters: three kindsof female images inYan zhen’s works,compare the male image with the femaleimage,the reasonof women view.
