Food safety is a great issue which concerned national economy andthe people’s livelihood. The quality of food directly influence our healthand the harmonious development of our society. Under the background ofconstructing a “Beautiful China”,the food safety is not only refer to a“good-looking”of our society, but also connected with the harmony inpeople’s hearts. To solve the problem of food safety,it’s not enough to berestricted under the law,supervision,economy.We need to guide andremodel a self-restraint system from the inter aspect of morality and ethics.This paper start from the high frequency issue in food safety and themorality problem which is faced with challenge, and tries to consider andsolve the problem of food safety from ethics. It has been described in thispaper that the great significance of researching the food safety from ethicsboth in theory and practice.It also has defined the food safety into twoaspects, safety of food and safe sense of people who purchase food.Thenanalysed the moral crisis and indicated the ethics significance ofprotecting the food safety. From the diverse positions of food-makingenterprise government, media, consumer and so on. It has dissected themoral problem of food safety using the consideration of interests,administration value, justice and rights consciousness. At last,the paperhas expounded the morality protecting structure of food safety from fiveaspects which as follows. To complete the value system of respecting lifeand right.To strengthen the social responsibility and moral construction ofthe food-making enterprise. To improve the supervisal function ofgovernment. To popularize the concept of food safety in defending andprotecting. To cultivate the concept of participation of social orgnizationand their ability to maintain the justice.
