The left-behind children in the rural China is a special group whose parents oronly father/mother went out to the urban and leave their children behind in thehometown. They generally have been taken care of by the other person even bythemselves. Many researches already implied that the long time department betweenthe left-behind children and their parent causes a series of problem in psychology,emotion, behaviour and so on to the left-behind children. Compared with the normalchildren on the interpersonal communication, they are used to introversion and notgood at communication. But the ability of interpersonal communication is importantto the social development of the children. The main content of interpersonalcommunication are interpersonal trust and interpersonal acceptance, which play aimportant role in the interpersonal communication of children. The interpersonalacceptance include the accepting others and the acceptance by others.This study means to research on the interpersonal trust and interpersonalacceptance of left-behind children using the method of random sampling. Thisresearch mainly uses the following tools: Kiddie Mach Scale, Acceptance of Others,Basic Situation Questionnaire. The article uses the ANOVA method to analyze theinterpersonal trust and interpersonal acceptance of left-behind children and make theregression analysis on the grade, the gender, the scholastic attainment and the age ofleft-behind children as the parents go out.The conclusion of this research is showed as follow:1、Among the grades, the degree of interpersonal trust and the acceptance byothers of the left-behind children in seventh grade are lowest, but there is nosignificant difference between the degree of accepting others.2、The degree of interpersonal trust, the acceptance by others and acceptingothers of the boy is significantly lower than the girls’.3、The degree of interpersonal trust and accepting others of the low scholasticattainment are the highest. But only the degree of acceptance by others of highscholastic attainment is significantly higher than the degree of middle scholasticattainment, and there is no significant difference among other groups. 4、On the age of left-behind children as the parents go out, the later the parents goout, the lower the interpersonal trust of the left-behind children and vice versa.5、There is only relationship between the interpersonal trust and interpersonalacceptance of the left-behind children.
