Objective:To construct the core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates,and provide a reference for confirming the group members’ constitute,responsibilities,requirements for the selsction,training and saaessment methods.Providing a reference foe building suitable for our nursing postgraduate tutor training mode team,the development of nursing graduate education,and improving the level of postgraduate education.Methods:This study is divided into two parts. The first part is to determine the core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates. On the basis of literature review and group discussion,we constructed the core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates preliminarily, according to the system,we designed"Nursing Graduate core competencies expert advisory questionnaire", all the indexes are screened by delphi expert consultation method, determine the core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates,ultimately.The second part is to determine the composition of mentor team members, responsibilities, requirements for the selection, training and assessment methods of operation and management indicators. On the basis of the core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates,we constructed the composition of mentor team members, responsibilities, requirements for the selection, training and assessment methods of operation and management, preliminary. All the indexes are screened by delphi expert consultation method.We send e-mail, mail or on-site payment to consult the experts, to be the result of statistical analysis indicated that the opinions of the experts consistent cycle finished questionnaire. When the expert opinions tends to be consistent,the rounds of consultation is over.Results:Experts’opinions tends to be consistent after two rounds of consultation. The effective response rate of the two rounds of consultation were 93.75% and 95.56%;expert authority coefficients were 0.82,0.87;the coefficient of variation of the first-grade indexes and second-grade indexes were 0.072 ~ 0.165,0.077 ~ 0.204;coordination coefficient were 0.28 and 0.21(P<0.01).The core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates was composed of 8 first-grade indexes(clinical practice competence,critical thinking competence, clinical research competence, professional development competence and so on) and 24 second-grade indexes. The experts’ opinions tends to be consistent after two rounds of consultation in the second part of the study, too. The effective response rate of the two rounds of consultation were 90.70% and 92.31%;expert authority coefficients were 0.83,0.88;the coefficient of variation of the first-grade indexes and second-grade indexes were 0.047-0.241; coordination coefficient were 0.25(P<0.01). The nursing education experts to finalize the main instructors in the supervision group, by clinical nurses, nursing management experts, clinicians, statisticians constitute constract the group which help the main instructor to direct the students. We’ll select the group members from four aspects,which including basic skills, teaching ability, research ability, professionalism. We’ll provide the relevant training before they entry. Evaluation once every three years, and mentor team members self-assessment, peer assessment, expert evaluation and student evaluation combine to carry out a full range of evaluation.Conclusions:1.The core competence evaluation system for nursing postgraduates was composed of clinical practice competence,critical thinking competence, clinical research competence, professional development competence, educational guidance capability and so on, the clinical practice competence is the main core competence of nursing postgraduates.2. The nursing education experts to finalize the main instructors in the supervision group, by clinical nurses, nursing management experts, clinicians, statisticians constitute constract the group which help the main instructor to direct the students. The structure of the team is reasonable, in line with the need of training graduate students,can lay the foundation to enhance the core competence and the quality of nursing students in training.3.The group supervision system can effectively compensate for single tutor system, give students comprehensive and diversified guidance, help enhance the graduate nursing core competencies and overall quality, and promote the development of innovation, improve the quality of nursing students in training.4. To improve the operation and management method of group supervision will help to implement the group supervision, clear division of labor, carry out their duties, to promote the coordinated development of culture quality and scale of postgraduate professional nursing.
