A Study On The Situation And Countermeasures Of Research In Guangdong General Hospital

The importance of medical research in the hospital comprehensive strength and core competitiveness is becoming increasingly prominent. Guangdong General Hospital(GGH), as a domestic first-class comprehensive public hospital, must develop clinical research that can enhance the height hospital development strategy. "Social Medicine and Health" is one of the two subjects under "Public Administration". Therefore, the objectives of hospital management should be not only to enhance public hospitals research capabilities and process, but also an important part of public administration.This study would be concentrated on the status of research work of the GGH, including major research achievements representative of various types of vertical programs and funding in the past ten years(all levels, the quantities of SCI papers p and value of annual IF, achievement award, invention Patent application).During the research, the data analysis and survey relate to the demand for researchers would be carry out. And also, the research on the environment(including the research platform for the construction and operation of the institutional environment) and interviews with staff would be finished before the paper. Finally according to the survey results, it comes to find out the problems and shortcomings of the hospital’s presence of current research work, and the analysis of the causes would be presented.Based on the analysis of the problem, drawing on the successful experience of domestic and foreign scientific research management, combined with the actual situation of the GGH, the paper proposes the solution and the improvement of the research strategy including the team construction, the structure of talent echelon, the effective incentive mechanism, the main directions of transformed medical research; the management of information and the improvement service quality.
