Expression Of IL-8、IL-17 In The Peri-Implant Crevicular Fluid Of Patients With Diabetes Mellitus

Objective:Studying in the similarities and differences of the quality level of Interleukin-8(IL-8)、Interleukin-17(IL-17) in the peri-implant crevicular fluid that with differen t peri-implant healthy conditions between the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitu s and in healthy patients.Preliminary exploring the influence of type 2 diabetes m ellitus to the expression of IL-8、IL-17 in the peri-implant crevicular fluid.Methods:Selecting 60 cases of re-visiting patients which had accepted dental implant repair surgery and accomplished with all ceramic crown restoration since 12 to 24 months in the oral maxillofacial surgery planting center of the first hospital of Shanxi medical university in the period from January 2015 to January 2016, including 22 cases of type 2diabetes mellitus patients and 38 cases of health patients.According to type 2 diabetes、peri-implantitis 、 health natural tooth control, they were divided into 6 groups:T2DM-PI(type 2 diabetes+peri-implantitis) 、 T2DM-HI(type 2 diabetes+healthy implant)、T2DM-N(type 2 diabetes+natural tooth)、PI(system health+peri-implantitis)、HI(system health+healthy implant)、N(system health+natural tooth).Through the filter paperstrip method to collect the peri-implant crevicular fluid and the same natural tooth gingival crevicular fluid,weighing the quality of PICF and GCF by the precision electronic scales.Record the quality of PICF and GCF,probing depth(PD) 、 sulcus bleeding index(SBI)、plaque index(PLI) as the clinical parameters,and ELISA was used to test the level of IL-8、IL-17 in PICF/GCF.Results:The level of IL-8、IL-17 in the group of T2DM-PI is significantly higher tha n the two group: T2DM-HI、T2DM-N,there is no significant differences between t he group of T2DM-HI and T2DM-N;The level of IL-8、IL-17 in the group of PI is significantly higher than the group of HI、N;The level of IL-8、IL-17 in the gr oup of T2DM-PI、T2DM-HI、T2DM-N are respectively significant higher than the ones in the group of PI、HI、N.The quality of PICF and GCF and the level of IL-8、IL-17 have the positive correlation relationships with clinical parameters;Ther e is a positive correlation relationships between the level of IL-8 and IL-17, whet her in PICF or GCF.Conclusion:Type 2 Diabetes patients are more likely to occur the peri-implantitis in co mparison with the healthy patients;the level of IL-8、IL-17 of the PICF or GCF i n type 2 diabetes mellitus are higher than the ones in the healthy patients;In periimplant the concentration of the two factors increases with the increase of the de gree of inflammation; The level of IL-8、IL-17 of the PICF or GCF in diabetes c an be used as an indicator to test the health status around the implants.
