| Objective:To detect the serum cystatin C(cystatin C, Cys C) in neonates with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) serum concentration and neonatal behavioral neurological assessment(NBNA), and analysis the correlation of them in evaluation of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) severity and prognosis significance. Methods:Selection from Oct 2014 to Oct 2015, the Shanxi Provincial Children’s hospital admitted to children. 51 cases diagnosed with HIE as the experiental group, 20 cases of swallowing syndrome and Early mild pneumonia with hyperbilirubinemia in the same period as the control group, detecting the serum Cys C in the experiental group and the control group. Meanwhile, giving NBNA score of both control group and the experimental group in acute phase and recovery period.Results:1.The serum Cys C values and NBNA score of HIE in mild, moderate and severe groups in acute period were compared with that of the control group(P<0.05), and the difference has statistically significant(P< 0.05); 2.In recovery phase, when compared the serum levels of CysC values, NBNA score of moderate, groupsevere group and control group in pairs, difference has statistically significant(P<0.05), meanwhile mild group and the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05); 3.The acute phase HIE and the recovery period HIE ’s serum Cys C value and NBNA score comparison, the difference has statistical significance(P< 0.05); 4.The Cys C value and NBNA were inversely correlated with HIE in the diffrient stage. Conclusion:Acute phase serum cystatin C values with HIE clinical severity, and increased accordingly, NBNA score decreased; in the recovery phase of HIE, serum Cys C values showed significantly lower and NBNA scores increased, they have negatively correlated inacute, suggesting that serum CysC combined NBNA score has certain value in evaluating the severity of disease and prognosising HIE. |
