ObjectiveBy observing the concentration differences of Hypoxia inducing factor-1α(HIF-1α)and adiponectin(APN) in plasma of hypertension with or without carotid intima-media thickness( c-IMT),and the correlation analysis between the two cytokines and carotid intima-media thickness,to explores the risk factors for hypertension carotid intima-media thickness and provide evidence to support possible treatment options for the future exploration. MethodsWe selected 104 cases with essential hypertension(eh) who conform to the conditions, and according to the c-IMT divided into high blood pressure normal intimal thickness group(49cases) and high blood pressure, intimal thickening group(55cases);in addition,we selected 31 cases with hypertension and normal intimal thickness as control group. We detect the serum level of HIF-1α and APN in every group by Using enzyme-linked immunoassay(enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, ELISA).Using the to measurement the carotid IMT. Results1.There is no significant difference between groups in age and the composition of sex(P>0.05).2.Comparison of HIF-1α and APN level between each study group The serum HIF-1 α level of Pure hypertension group and control group is lower than hypertension endometrial thickening group, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);The serum APN level of Hypertension endometrial thickening group and pure hypertension group is lower than the control group, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Correlation analysis between the intimal thickness and serum HIF–1αin high blood pressure patients Patients with high blood pressure and intima-media thickness and serum levels of HIF-1α positive correlation,r=0.385,( P <0.05);Intima-media thickness and no significant correlation between serum APN level,r=-0.044,(P >0.05). |
