Research On Diagnosis And Therapeutic Effects Of Drak Disease In Tibetan Medicine

Background Recently, with increasing in living standard, more acid, spicy, fatty food are taken in, physical exercises are lacked.These risk factors lead to the obvious increase in the prevalence rate of Drak disease.This disease has become one of the main factors that were harm to health. Although Tibetan researchers had largely researched on diagnosis and treatment of Drak disease, comparative studies of different the rapeutic effects on Drak disease are rarely. Study on Drak disease by comparing the three treatment methods to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment skills of Drak disease in traditional Tibetan medicine.Objectives 1.Conbine diagnosis and treatment datum of Drak disease in Traditional Tibetan medicine, improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment norms of Drak disease, and to provide theoretical basis for further research on Drak disease. 2. Compare the three therapeutic effects on Drak disease in traditional Tibetan medicine, and to provide the reference data for choosing the better curative effect.Methods 1. By combining the ancient books and records of traditional Tibetan medicine books and literature of clinical experience, analysis the etiology, pathological process, classification, location, common symptoms and individual symptoms of Drak disease. 2. 90 patients were divided into three groups, drug group, blood leading group, and combined group, respectively. The basic information, state of an illness and effect of patients are collected by using the self-designed form, then analyzed by SPSS.Results 1.Through consulting the fifty-two classic literatures about Drak disease in Tibetan medicine, it was found that there were two inconsistent points of view about the cause of disease, and it were related with lung and blood. Season,(sudden factors), dietary daily life are the principal causes of Drak disease. And the gender, age, physical condition, genetic, diets also are the risk factors of Drak disease. Clinical symptoms of Drak disease are similar to the symptoms described in The Four Medical Tantras, but typical individual symptoms were put forward in other classic literature. 2. Drug treatment group: 7% of patient were fully recovered; 70% were significantly improved; 20% were mild impairment, 3% were invalid. Bleeg treatment group: 17% were of patient was fully recovered, 70% were significantly improved; 10% were mild impairment; 3% were invalid. Combination group: 17% of patients were fully recovered; 63% were significantly improved; 20% were mild impairment. All of the three treatments had remarkable curative effects on Drak disease. Three methods of treatment of total score, the overall effect of the drug therapy group, bloodletting, drug with bloodletting group accounted for 75%, 82%, 77% of the total curative effect.Conclusions 1.It was found that the traditional Tibetan medicine had many technologies of diagnosis and treatment on Drak disease by researching on the literature, so related researches can be further studied. 2. The treatment effects of three therapeutic methods of Drak disease were significantly. And the therapeutic effect of bloodletting group was better than those of drug group and combined group, the reasons need be further researched.
