| Research background: Known as the window of the soul,eye is the prominent organization of the five senses of human beings,which consist of consciousness,caksur-indriya,and blood vessels.Particularly,all the physical information of substantial objects is captured by sense of eyes.As the one of three causes,Mkhis pa is the pathogenesis of eye diseases.In addition,Mkhis pa was clinically considered as a common disease with high morbidity rate,which,thus,plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmology.The theory of diagnosis and treatment of rab rib(eye disease)was mainly described in the Four Tantras(Tib: Rgyud bzhi),which is the most completed and systematic masterpiece of Tibetan medical theory.Therefore,the Four Tantras is widely accepted as the most prominent volume that later Tibetan scholars have been inheriting and studying in terms of the diagnosis of varies diseases.However,due to the distinct gap between the practical and theatrical knowledge in the process of diagnosis and treatment,the techniques of majority ophthalmology department of Tibetan hospitals are still lagging behind relatively,and more than half of Tibetan medical scholars have very limited knowledge of rab rib disease,hence,a comprehensive research in this filed have not been done yet.Research purpose: There is little doubt that the development of information age has brought tremendous convenience towards human society,yet a heavy rely on the electronic products also leads a excessive usage of our eyes.Therewith,resulted the inflammation of eyes and the progression of rab rib disease.According to a recent statistical analysis by the WHO(World Health Organization),the number of people with myopia in China is reached more than 600 millions.Among which,the visual acuity rate of 7~12 age primary school students,13~15 age junior middle school students,16~18 age senior high school students and 19~22 age college students are respectively account for 45%,71%,74.36%,83.28% and 86.36%.the aforementioned statistic strongly determined that rab rib isease has a great impact on our lives.Hence,it is crucial to master a thorough understanding and proper diagnosis of rab rib disease at present.Learn the 60 classical Tibetan volumes of the Four Tantras is also an urgent target.This research program aims to conduct a profound investigation of the anatomical structure of eyes,as well as to determine the cause,etiology,pathogenesis,diagnostic criteria,symptom manifestations,and treatment methods of rab rib diseases.Methodology: 1.Literary review: In this particular aspects,this research overall summarizes the structures of anatomy;the cause and pathogenesis of rab rib disease;as well as the common symptoms and therapeutic methods of rab rib disease.By doing so,this research program takes a scientific and systematic analysis of the 60 classical Tibetan volumes of the Four Tantras;to take further investigations on the modern Tibetan medical literatures and journals;as well as to take example by the relevant flied such as ophthalmology,anatomy,etc.2.Fieldwork research: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 38 Tibetan medical doctors in the county-level and prefecture-level 5 of Tibetan hospitals in the Qinghai province,which aims to take an initial investigation on the current conditions of the diagnosis and treatment of rab rib diseases.3.Clinical research: conducted a quantitative survey on the medical records of 58 patients from Chende Tibetan Hospital and Qinghai Tibetan Hospital,collected the medical record analysis of the fundamental state of patients,and made a comparative studies of the core symptoms of front and back.Research Results: Based on an exhaustive literary studies,the current research found a number of recordings listed below: 1.the structure of eyes is formed by bone wheel,meat wheel,fat wheel,water wheel,chakras,and other five rounds on;2.The etiology of all diseases can be summed up within three causes,although from the occurrence of the eyes and with the herpetological table,eye disease makes the cause more inclined to Mkhis pa;3.the rab rib disease has four stages,the main symptoms is distant blur,now blurry and now clear,left-right tilt,blurry,see objects are blurred into a circle,distant blur,near blur,and other weights are divided;4.The vital substances in the course of treatment are drug pedicle iron Chips(myrobalan system),golden-white snake,and red ochre.5.It is a symptom of eye disease such as the second stage on onset of myopia in modern medicine,... |
