To Investigate The Effect Of Psychological Nursing On Patients With Gynecomastia

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of psychological nursing on the mental health status and to improve the nursing quality of patients with gynecomastia.Methods1. Return interviews for 31 patients of gynecomastia treated in First Hospital of Lanzhou University from 2010 to 2012 were paid as control.2. 46 patients with gynecomastia were intervened by psychological nursing, Self rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self rating Depression Scale(SDS) were applied to evaluate the mental health status. ANOVA analysis was used to analyze the effect of psychological nursing on patients with gynecomastia.3. The Satisfaction questionaire were applied to evaluate the satisfaction degree of patients before leaving hospital.Survey the patients, satisfaction degree before leaving hospital.Results1. After psychological nursing, patients’ anxiety, depression and other negative emotions were significantly improved.SAS score was decreased from the original 49 points to 41 points, SDS score was decreased from 52 points to 40- points(p<0.001).2. 90% patients have already learned medical knowledge of disease, treatment and rehabilitation related.They can correctly face the disease and positive cooperate with the docotors for treament.3. After the treatment of psychological nursing, Patients’ satisfaction degree reached 96%, the benefit effect is obvious.Conclusion1. Patients with gynecomastia is a special group, they are stressed, anxiety, depression and easy to ill psychological disorders.2. Psychological nursing can effectively improve the mental health status and life quality of patients with gynecomastia.3. In clinical, Psychological nursing can improve gynecomastia patients’ satisfaction degree.
