The Clinical Research On “Knee Ten-point Needling” For Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objectives To observe the influence on “knee ten-point needling” treatment knee osteoarthritis(KOA) in clinical symptoms, signs and imaging. Scientifically and objectively to evaluate the clinical efficacy and application value of “knee ten-point needling” therapy treatment KOA. And to provide a clinical treatment of KOA that convenient treatment, operation specification, efficiency and safety.Methods The selected 60 cases from The People’s Liberation Army 255 Hospital traditional Chinese medicine outpatient service from December 2014 to December 2015. The 60 patients that conforms to the KOA’ standard were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The “knee ten-point needling” treatment group were treated once a day, 10 days for a course of treatment, rest 2 days between courses, continuously 3 courses. The Sodium Hyaluronate Injection control treatment were treated once a week, continuously 5 courses. The patients were surveied after treatment 6 months. To observe and evaluate the clinical treatment effect and the changes of WOMAC scores and the imaging before and after the treatment.Results There were no significant difference between two groups in age, gender, course of disease compared before treatment(P>0.05). There were significant differences that two groups WOMAC scores after treatment obviously lower than before(P<0.05). Treatment group WOMAC scores considerably lower than control group in long-term. The total effective rate of two groups is no significantly different in short-term(P>0.05). The effective rate of treatment group is 93.33% which is higher than control group’s 83.33%. There were significant differences between the two groups in clinical efficacy. And the curative effect of treatment group is better than control group’s in Noyes scores and knee’s situation.Conclusions “Knee ten-point needling” treatment of knee osteoarthritis is significant in clinical efficacy, and it has a good curative effect in long-term. It has curative effect affirmation at relieving knee’s pain, improving joint function, repairing joint damage. “Knee ten-point needling” therapy is simple, safe and it has obvious clinical curative effect. It is suitable for popularization and application in clinic.
