Objective: To explore the personal strategy of postoperative Sr-90 applicator brachytherapy on three aspects consisting of therapeutic times, therapeutic doses, and therapeutic intervals, supporting the clinical practice with the evidence-based data. Methods: We observed, collected and retrospectively analyzed the therapeutic times, therapeutic doses, intervals, and prognosises in 465 follow-ups with scars receiving postoperative Sr-90 brachytherapy from telephone,Wechat or department of outpatient via variance analysis and broken line graph. Results: In the 465 follow-ups with the cure rate of 95.27%, significant differences were observed in therapeutic times and therapeutic doses among eleven different region groups through variance analysis with the value of P less than 5%.And significant differences could be also observed in therapeutic intervals among different region groups even within the same region group, especially during the later period. Conclusion: Individual therapeutic strategies are essential for scars in different regions, and satisfied prognosis could be achieved after personal adjustment to personal behaviour, with larger doses and more times at chest, buttocks, perineum, upper limb rather smaller doses and less times at face, neck or breast.
