Objective:To explore the characteristics of overactive bladder and the factors that may relate to overactive bladder in PD, so that we can provide theoretical basis for the further prevention. Methods:The subjects included 81 indiopathic Parkinson’s disease patients. All subjects were surveyed by the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score(OABSS), so that we can assess the Overactive Bladder Symptom in PD patients. we devided the subjects into two groups based on the results of OABSS, one was PD with OAB, the other was PD without OAB.We got the relative factors through the statistical analysis between the two groups.Results:1.The incidence of Overactive Bladder Symptom( urinary urgency 、 urinary frequency 、urinary incontinence and nocturia)in PD patients was high and it was 46.9%in our research.Among all the 81 subjects, 75.31% had nocturia which was the most common,46.91% had urinary urgency, 41.98% had urinary incontinence, and 13.58% had frequent micturition.2.The results of single factor analysis: gender(ρ=0.112)、smoking(ρ=0.115)、drinking(ρ=0.387)、hypertension(ρ=0.057)、tea(ρ=0.787)、regular exercise(ρ=0.754)、 educational level(ρ=0.098)、onset age(ρ=0.120)had no significant difference between two groups. Whether with other autonomic nerve symptoms(ρ=0.002)、age(ρ=0.007)、course of disease(ρ<0.001)、the total dose of LED(ρ<0.001)、UPDRSⅢ scoring(ρ<0.001)、Hoehn-Yahr grading(ρ<0.001)had significant difference between two groups.3.Logistic regression model analysis: age(ρ=0.007)、course of disease(ρ<0.001)、Whether with other autonomic nerve symptoms( ρ=0.120) and Hoehn-Yahr grading(ρ=0.832)were the confounding factors, but UPDRSⅢ scoring(ρ=0.001 OR=1.103)and the total doses of LEDA(ρ=0.002 OR=1.005)had significant difference between two groups.Conclusions:1.The incidence of Overactive Bladder Symptom( urinary urgency 、 urinary frequency 、urinary incontinence and nocturia)in PD patients was high and it was 46.9%in our research. We should pay attention to the overactive bladder symptom in PD patients.2.Gender、drinking、smoking、tea、regular exercise、educational level、age、onset age、course of disease、hypertension、Whether with other autonomic nerve symptoms and Hoehn-Yahr grading may have no relationship with overactive bladder symptom in PD patients, but UPDRS Ⅲ scoring and the total doses of LEDA may relate to overactive bladder in PD.
