Objective: To investigate the clinical significance between serum concentrations of TC, TG, HDL, LDL, apoA, apoB and WBC in colorectal cancer(CRC). Methods: The study interested 60 patients, from 28 to 74 years old, presenting a colorectal cancer confirmed pathologically, examined during the period going from December 2014 to October 2015 in Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University. Sixty healthy controls were examined in parallel. The analyses carried out were determination of TC, TG, HDL, LDL, apoA, apoB and white blood cell. Results: ①We observed high TC level is a risk factor of the incidence of colorectal cancer. ②High HDL and apoA levels were protective factors of the incidence of colorectal cancer. ③The present study showed that the level of white blood cell was positively associated with levels of TC and apoB in colorectal cancer patients. ④There was no connection between sex and concentrations of lipid in colorectal cancer patients. Conclusion: Our findings show that a rise in the TC level will increase the risk of the incidence of colorectal cancer.
