Observe The Changes Of Tongue In Chinese Traditional Treatment Of Functional Constipation

Objective:Through investigate the relationship between the tongue characteristics of functional constipation with TCM syndrome to provide the objective basis for the tongue diagnose of functional constipation;Observe the tongue changes in the Chinese medicine treatment of functional constipation to judge whether there is a correlation between the curative effect and changes of tongue and explore the feasibility to judge the curative effect with tongue.Methods:Functional constipation diagnosed by the "combination of disease and syndrome" mode of international functional constipation Rome Ⅲstandards and 2011 Chinese Medicine Institute of spleen and stomach of Chronic constipation in Chinese medical consensus.The classification of tongue standard by’color atlas of Chinese medical tongue diagnosis’, tongue is divided into tongue feature(normal tongue enlarged tongue,teeth-marked tongue,fissured tongue,thin tongue),tongue color(pale red tongue,pale tongue,red tongue,pale purplish tongue,bluish purple tongue,dark purple tongue),feature of the tongue fur(thin fur,slimy fur,thick fur,patchy-peeled fur,little or no fur) and color of the tongue fur(white fur,yellow fur,mixed yellow and white fur).Firstly,298 patients met the standard were collected in Nanjing City Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine constipation ZhuanBing from March 2015 to March 2016, collect the tongue of the first diagnosis and referral of patients at a special camera in 2 weeks as a data record.Secondly,patients were asked to fill constipation symptom severity scale (CCS) and stool Bristol scale before and after treatment.Record the tongue in the special information system of defecation disorders and fill the table,changes of symptoms and therapeutic method before and after the treatment.Finally,all dates were analyzed by SPSS20.0 software,measurement datas were tested for normality firstly,than χ2 inspection and analysis of variance;Image data uses descriptive records and not included in the statistics.Result:1)The most tongue of the highest proportion of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome (n=96,32.21%) was pale,the tongue body was larger with teeth marked on the tongue margins and the fur was thin white;The most tongue of lung and spleen deficiency syndrome (n=73,24.5%) was pale red,the tongue body was normal and the fur was thin white;The most tongue of liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome (n=49,16.44%) was red,the tongue body was normal and the fur was little or no;The most tongue of stomach intestine heat syndrome was red,the tongue body was normal and the fur was yellow slimy.At the same time,5 different tongue syndrome type was statistically significant by χ2 test(p<0.05).2)The tongue changes of functional constipation after treatment by Chinese medicine were not obvious,and the main changes were fur.3)The tongue changes were no significant correlation with curative effectConclusion:The tongue of different types of functional constipation is different,and it provide reference objective basis for the syndrome differentiation and treatment of functional constipation;The tongue changes functional constipation after treatment were no significant correlation with curative effect and it is still in the preliminary exploration stage needing further research.
