Clinical Research On The Effectiveness Of DingChanAnShen Decoction Cure For Sleep Disorders In Parkinson’s Disease With The Syndrome Of Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency

Purpose:Parkinson disease,also called paralusis agitans,is a kind of neurodegenerative disease, which is the second only to Alzheimer’s disease, belongs to the typical movement disorder.In clinical practice, the motor symptoms are more common, such as static tremor, bradykinesia, etc. In addition, patients often also associated with cognitive impairment and sleep disorders, salivation, constipation, anxiety, sensory abnormalities in a series of non motor symptoms. Sleep disorders may be associated with the majority of patients with Parkinson’s disease.Serious person also can lead to its physical and mental damage, significantly affect the quality of life and even accelerate the death of patients. Although the current western medicine treatment of sleep disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease has made some progress, but the overall effect is unsatisfactory, drug therapy is difficult to avoid the effects of toxic and side effects on the overall condition. My tutor who with the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine basic theory and clinical experience, proposed DingChanAnShen Decoction. In the treatment of Parkinson’s disease with sleep disorder, the clinical effect is satisfactory. In this study, by collecting clinical data of patients with sleep disorders in Parkinson disease, for further discuss and sum up the fixed clinical efficacy and safety of DingChanAnShen Decoction.Methods:This study was selected the patients,from December 2014 to February 2016, with Sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease with the Syndrome of Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency.Implementation of small sample randomized controlled trial,the treatment group also take DingChanAnShen Decoction.Observation of 28 days. By using TCM symptom quantization table, PDSS scale, HAMA scale, HAMD scale, UPDRS-Ⅲ, for the evaluation and comparison of each group before and after treatment. Clinical research data using SPSS 16.0 software for statistical data analysis. The paired test method was used to calculate the difference in each group before and after treatment,the group test method was used to calculate the difference among the groups. If the test value conforms to normal distribution, use the t-test; if it does not accord with normal distribution, use the non parametric test. Count data to rate or porpertion, with X test facility. Test standard to P value< 0.05, said the difference has statistical significance.Result:The study selected 60 patients,no cases droped out. By using the PDSS scale,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group total effective rate of 76.7%, the total effective rate of 20.0% in the control group. By using TCM symptom quantization table, the efficiency of the treatment group was 60.0%, The other group was 16.7%. Comparison between the two groups,the P value was less than 0.05, meaning the difference was statistically significant.Accordingly,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The TCM symptom quantization table was decreased after treatment in both two groups, the scores of treatment group reduced significantly, within group comparison P value< 0.05,differences have statistical significance,thus within the treatment group, P value>0.05,there was no significant difference.And comparison between the two groups P value< 0.05, so there was statistical significance between them;The HAMA scale score, HAMD scale score and PDSS scale score were improved after treatment in the treatment group,but in the control group was no obvious difference,the scores of treatment group improved significantly, within group comparison P value< 0.05,differences have statistical significance,thus within the treatment group P value>0.05,there was no significant difference.Comparison between the two groups P value< 0.05, with statistical significance.Meaning DingChanAnShen Decoction not only improved the patient’s sleep disorders, but also anxiety and depression. The UPDRS-Ⅲ scale score was decreased after treatment in two groups, the treatment group decreased significantly, P< 0.01, there was significant difference within the group.In the control group P<0.05,with statistically significant. Within the two groups, P< 0.05, with significant difference. Safety analysis showed that the patients after the end of treatment to retest the monitoring indicators and baseline comparison had no significant change. Conclusions:Preliminary studies showed that DingChanAnShen Decoction cure for Sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease with the Syndrome of Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency can relieve the patient’s sleep.Also has certain improvement to the movement symptom and the mental symptom,indirect improvement their sleep disorders. And the security is credible. But there are still some limitations in this study including the sample size, research programs and so on.Still need further observation and study of its pathogenesis, standardize the clinical treatment system to provide a reliable basis for exploring the effect of Chinese medicine treatment.
