Objective:to assess the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Methods: through the computer retrieval and manual retrieval, the comprehensive collection nearly20years of traditional Chinese medicine to treat Parkinson’s disease, half of the random randomized controlled trial literature, screening qualified literature, the use of Jadad evaluation method on the quality evaluation, establish a system evaluation database, the application of the Cochrane network software to provide Revman out into the literature system analysis, with the total effective rate, Webster scored and UPDRS scores, adverse reaction rate for therapeutic indexes, and relative data, Meta-heterogeneity inspection analysis, funnel diagram analysis and sensitivity analysis. Results:a total of26into a randomized controlled trial, including1937cases of patients, including trial group (Chinese medicine or Chinese medicine+levodopa preparation)1002cases and control (use levodopa preparations, n=935). Jadad ratings show that all the three points scored lower than, low quality of literature, the results of the Meta-analysis show that:(1) the total effective rate:two groups of Webster a deduction rate comparison of the relative risk RR (95%confidence interval)1.31(1.11,1.51), the difference was statistically significant, the sensitivity analysis of the stability of the statistical results of the poor, Two groups of deduction rate quite UPDRS merger RR (95%CI)1.25(1.13,1.40), the difference was statistically significant, sensitivity analysis and Meta-analysis result is stable and reliable. UPDRS scores changes:the total score, Ⅱ UPDRS group, Ⅲ relative to the baseline score change than that of the control group dropped significantly, the merger of the two groups WMD (95%CI) were1.59(2.59,0.59), and1.08(1.53,0.63), and1.15(1.69,0.61), are statistically significant differences, funnel figure points shows left-right asymmetry, suggests the presence of published sex bias probability. Adverse reaction:group and control group of gastrointestinal reaction, constipation, insomnia, mental symptoms, switch phenomenon, low blood pressure, the phenomenon of the agent incidence was significant difference, salivate, the incidence of dizziness was not statistically different. Conclusion:the clinical study of existing evidence to show that, compared with the pure with western medicine, Chinese traditional medicine can reduce Parkinson’s disease clinical symptoms, improve the patient’s overall function, improve its ability and activity of daily life movement function, and safety is higher. Traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine may be superior to use the western medicine, but because the number and quality of research sample limitations, still need to more high quality large sample randomized controlled trial to further proved.
