| ObjectiveThis study tries to recognize the influence of spleen deficiency patients’ accompanying symptom to saliva amylase activity ratio, which is good to the micro level of clinical medication. We expect that the index can be applied in and extended clinic through this study. Furtherly, this research means to study the dependency between saliva amylase activity ratio and symptoms score and diagnostic score of spleen deficiency patients.Methods1. Documents research:Arranged and summed the research about the saliva amylase activity ratio and spleen deficiency by means of consulting and analyzing previous data.2. Clinical trials:(1) All the subjects were from the Guangzhou University of TCM and its first affiliated hospital, who had chronic superficial gastritis and spleen deficiency. (2) Made clinical information registration form and recorded subjects’clinical information in detail and quantified the symptoms scores.(3) All the subjects were divided into different groups according to their major accompanying symptom. Detected subjects’saliva amylase activity(SAA) of spleen deficiency both within and without accompanying symptom respectively. Then analyzed the correlation between SAA ratio and accompanying symptoms of spleen deficiency subjects through a variety of statistical methods. (4) Calculated symptoms score and diagnostic score of spleen deficiency patients, made correlation analysis between all the scores and SAA ratio.Results1. SAA ratio before and after acid stimulation:SAA ratio of all the subjects after acid stimulation were significant lower than before acid stimulation(P <0.05).2. the effect of accompanying symptoms on SAA ratio:The SAA ratio of patients without epigastric pain, dry and bitter taste was lower than the ones who with. The SAA ratio of patients with belching was lower than the ones who without, all the three results above had no significant difference(P>0.05). The SAA ratio of patients with acid regurgitation was significant lower than the ones who without(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in SAA ratio after grouped non-spleen deficiency accompanying symptoms(P>0.05). In terms with patients with lassitude, the SAA ratio of patients with acid regurgitation was significant higher than the ones who without (P<0.05). In terms of patients with gastral cavity, the SAA ratio of patients with acid regurgitation was significant lower than the ones who without (P<0.05).3. The spleen deficiency symptom score, non-spleen deficiency symptom score and diagnostic score of all patients had no significant relevance with SAA ratio.ConclusionThe SAA was lower after acid stimulation shows that the emergency capacity of parasympathetic nerve and digestive function in patients with spleen deficiency are lower, this result is coincide with previous result.Symptoms as epigastric pain, belching, dry and bitter taste, have no apparent influence on SAA ratio, no matter single or together. In terms of acid regurgitation, concurring with other accompanying symptoms makes no difference to SAA ratio, it may be influenced by spleen deficiency symptoms such as gastric cavity, lassitude. The dependency between saliva amylase activity ratio and diagnostic score, spleen deficiency symptom score, non-spleen deficiency symptom score are not apparent, we need make more investigates on it. |
