Objectives:According to the change of the tow laboratory diagnostic reference index about spleen deficiency that was recognized interiorly ("salivary amylase active ratio" and "xylose discharge ratio" ) ,we divide the spleen deficiency patients into the different hypotype useing the method of sample cluster analysis. Then analyze clinical symptom characteristics about the different spleen deficiency hypotype patients , to increase knowledge on spleen deficiency, clinical signs and symptoms and their roles. Method:1. To design "the spleen deficiency four diagnostic material and laboratory material registration form" ,collect the raw data about each patient that is up to the required standard objectively, and detect the tow laboratory diagnostic reference index about spleen deficiency ( "salivary amylase active ratio" and "xylose discharge ratio" ) synchronistically.2. According to the change of the tow laboratory diagnostic reference index about spleen deficiency, to cluster the patients which is up to the required standard by sample cluster analysis. The patients are divided into tow different sub-clinical forms according to the clustering result. To analysis each sub-clinical form, its clinical symptom characteristics by logistic regression analysis.Result:1. The salivary amylase active ratio (0. 7732 ± 0. 37425) and xylose discharge ratio (22.4627 ± 9.96103%) of spleen defici-ency group have significant difference with the normal (1.25±0.76) , (26.37 ± 3.96%) (p<0.05).2.According to the change of salivary amylase active ratio and xylosedischarge ratio ,all embodied patients were classified into two groups: the spleen deficiency Type 1 and Type 2. The result show that the xylose discharge ratio (14. 7778 + 4. 73957) of Type 1 is reduced obviously, it (31.3871+6. 23793) is normal in Tppe 2, the tow types have significant difference(p<0. 05);The salivary amylase active ratio of tow types is under the normal, the degree in Type 1 (0.7313 + 0.39842) is lesser than the type 2 (0.8218+0.34409) , the tow types have no significant difference (p>0. 05) .3. The usual symptoms of spleen deficiency patients such as tongue proper, fur nature, excrement, fatigue of the limbs, epigastric fullness, liking warm food> no straining at stool, mental weariness and disinclination to talk, chilly sensation and the cold limbs, moist or dry fir, bellyache, abdominal tenderness, eructation, pantothenic acid have significant difference between the tow types (p<0. 05).4. Taking the probability being Type 1 or Type 2 as dependent variable and the every symptom of spleen deficiency as independent variable, to make logistic regression analysis and establish regression model. The regression equation includes ten independent variables, which were bodily form, complexion, short breath, lips color, tongue proper , tongue color, fur color, fur nature, pulse manifestation, excrement. Tongue proper, fur nature and excrement have significant difference between the tow types (p<0. 05).Cone I us i on:1.It prove that the salivary amylase active ratio and xylose discharge ratio of the spleen deficiency patients is under the normal again.2.According to the change of salivary amylase active ratio and xylose discharge ratio ,all embodied patients were classified into two groups:the spleen deficiency Type 1 and Type 2. The decreased degree of salivary amylase active ratio and xylose discharge ratio are different between the two types, the decreased degree of Type 2 is lesser than the Type 1.It point out that the spleen deficiency degree of Type 1 is seriouser than Type 2 from the angle of laboratory index.3. The positive rate of usual symptoms of spleen deficiency patients such as tongue proper, fur nature, excrement, fatigue ofthe limbs, epigastric fullness, liking warm food, no straining at stool, mental weariness and disinclination to talk, chilly sensation and the cold limbs, moist or dry fir, bellyache, abdominal tenderness, eructation, pantothenic acid havesignificant difference between the tow types (p<0.05) .Along with the reduction of the alivary amylase active ratio and xylose discharge ratio, the positive rate of these symptoms show an increasing tendency.4. Bodily form, complexion, short breath, lips color, tongue proper , tongue color, fur color, fur nature, pulse manifestation and excrement these ten factors have significant influence on distinguishing spleen deficiency , its sub-clinical forms. The regression model' s degree of fitting is good."fattier tongue and more indentation" preponderate in the tongue proper of Type 1, "encrusted tongue" preponderate in the fur nature of Type 1, and "soft stool" or "dry or hard stool" is the main change of excrement in Type 1;" Fattish tongue and litter indentation or normal " is the main change of tongue proper in Type 1, "litter or no fur" is the main change of fur nature in type l,and "normal" or "dry or hard stool" preponderate in excrement of Type 1.
