Research On The Mode Of Medical Care And Elderly Care Combination In Small Cities

Nowadays, traditional aging service couldn’t meet the elderly needs. The demands for these aging people exceed the supply. In order to tackle this issue, Chinese top decision-making agency has advanced’the combination of medical care and elderly care’. However, until now, the academic and practice research are more likely to explore the range of aging service in big cities. There are few research related to small cities especially ’the combination of medical care and elderly care’. This paper take the combination of descriptive and analytical approach, based on the actual survey data and instance, using ’Maslow’s hierarchy of needs’,’Public Products Theory’,’Organization sociology’to explain. According to analyze its feature and existing problems, the author put forward to some measures to promote the development of ’the combination of medical care and elderly care’ in the future.Through the government policy commitments, leverage social pluralism investment, scope enlargement care insurance, pension lotteries to enhance medical combined with economic support. Integrate the existing medical resources in 6 kinds of combination mode, such as directly and closely, spacing, on-demand, or society connection and so on. Rely on the old people self-care ability (5 levels), the aging service center offer corresponding 5 level care services; Clear life care, health care or medical aid and other 16 content for institutional pension as necessary services; Set up the service quality and the effect evaluation,According to the above ideas to build ’the combination of medical care and elderly care’ in small city, it takes into account the small city’s elderly population, limited public resources, insufficient medical facilities.The innovation of this thesis is meeting the current aging needs in small cities. What’s more, it concludes the basic rules of aging service needs. Furthermore, it realize the combination of medical and aging resource. The last, it expands the range of ’the combination of medical care and elderly care’.
