ObjectiveUsing the triple therapy of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, acupuncture, skills training) treatment, early metaphase knee osteoarthritis, and conventional treatment (specific electromagnetic wave radiation, passive movement, active movement), compared to observe evaluate the treatment effect, to explore the traditional Chinese medicine triple therapy efficacy for the treatment of early, mid knee osteoarthritis. For grassroots community USES TCM facts and theoretical foundation for the prevention and treatment of knee osteoarthritis.MethodsAnalysis between December 2013 and August 2015 randomly selected two streets in downtown Guangzhou health service center, collected in the form of free clinic cases. Participants included 37 cases,7 cases of male, female 30 cases. Treatment group (18 cases,2 cases were male, female 16 cases; Among them, the double knee osteoarthritis in 11 cases, left 4 cases, right 3 cases, a total of 29 knees, age range for:48-71 years old, with an average age of:58.89 5.74 years, average duration is: 6.30 6.30; The control group (19 cases), the male in 5 cases,14 cases of female; 14 cases of knee osteoarthritis, on the left side of the 3 cases, 2 cases on the right side, a total of 33 knees. Age range for 52-70 years, mean age:62.68 5.58, the average duration for:3.74 2.97. Treatment group to the triple therapy of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, acupuncture, skills training) treatment, the control group in the conventional treatment (specific electromagnetic wave radiation, passive movement, active movement). Respectively before treatment,2 weeks,4 weeks treatment, treatment after 3 months follow-up, the VAS score and Lequesne score evaluation of knee osteoarthritis pain and improve function.ResultsBefore the treatment, the treatment group VAS score 3.94 ± 0.799, Lequesne score ± 7.47 2.82; Control group for VAS score 3.36 ± 3.36, Lequesne score ± 5.82 to 4.324.2 weeks after treatment, the treatment group VAS score 2.66±0.828, Lequesne score ± 4.56 2.406; Control group for VAS score 3.53 ± 3.53, Lequesne score ± 5.55 to 4.045. Comparison before and after treatment group VAS score and Lequesne score had significant difference (P= 0.00< 0.05), the control VAS score and Lequesne score before and after comparison there was no significant difference (P 0.05)>; Comparison between groups, VAS score had significant difference (P 0.05)<, Lequesne score there was no significant difference (P> 0.05).4 weeks after treatment, the treatment group VAS score 1.47 ± 0.973, Lequesne score ± 3.92 1.565; Control group for VAS score 3.48 ± 3.48, Lequesne score±5.66 to 4.369. Comparison before and after treatment group VAS score and Lequesne score had significant difference (P= 0.00< 0.05), the control VAS score and Lequesne score before and after comparison there was no significant difference (P 0.05)>; Comparison between groups, VAS score had significant difference (P 0.05)<, Lequesne score there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Follow-up for 3 months after treatment, the treatment group VAS score 1.11±0.854, Lequesne score±3.97 2.226; Control group for VAS score 3.48 ± 3.48, Lequesne score ± 5.56 to 4.314. VAS score in treatment group were followed up for 3 months and Lequesne score compared with before and 4 weeks treatment had significant difference (P= 0.00< 0.05), the control VAS score and Lequesne score before and after comparison there was no significant difference (P 0.05) >; Comparison between groups, VAS score had significant difference (P 0.05)<, Lequesne score there was no significant difference (P> 0.05).ConclusionTriple therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in relieving joint pain, improve the effect on knee joint function, its therapeutic effect compared with traditional light and active and passive functional exercise has significant advantages. Fumigation, acupuncture, the durability of the achievement method exercise has obvious therapeutic effect, not easy rebound. Itself has the characteristics of Jane, then, effective and inexpensive. Worthy of promotion and further in-depth study.
