Comparison Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Types And Symptom Scores Of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:Through the classification of TCM syndromes in rheumatoid arthritis cases,we compare the scores of TCM syndromes in different TCM syndrome types,to explore the therapeutic effects of RA patients with different TCM syndromes in the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and further guide clinical practice.Methods:In this study,95 cases of discharge from Rheumatology Department of Shanxi central hospital were selected according to the dialectical standard of traditional Chinese medicine,and the cases were divided into five groups: hygrothermal,cold,blood stasis,cold,liver and kidney.The general data of the patients of each group were collected,and the score of TCM symptoms were recorded before and after treatment.All data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis software.Results:(1)The characteristics of TCM syndrome group: TCM syndrome group RA patients with cold dampness group(30/95,31.6%).(2)The relationship between TCM syndrome and gender: female 95 cases(75/95,78.9%)than men(20/95,21.1%),in which the female to cold dampness group(24/75,32%)for men,to damp heat blockage group(7/20,35%)was no statistically significant difference in gender.(3)The relationship between TCM syndrome and age: the average age of kidney qi deficiency cold group(54.41±10.20)was the largest in the selected cases,and the damp heat arthralgia group(52.19±10.51)was the smallest.20-39 years of age with damp heat blockage group(5/13,38.5%),40-59 years of age with cold dampness group(20/53,37.7%),60-69 years of age with kidney deficiency and cold group(10/29,34.5%).(4)The relationship between TCM syndrome and TCM syndrome before and after treatment in each group through the TCM syndrome score was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),in which both before and after treatment in the liver and kidney yin deficiency group was the highest,is damp heat blockage group.Before treatment group,liver and kidney yin deficiency group and kidney qi deficiency and cold syndrome the wet heat stagnation group integral had significant difference(P<0.05),difference after treatment of damp heat blockage group and the other four groups of TCM symptom scores were statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)TCMsyndrome and TCM syndrome score improvement rate relationship: of the 95 patients 74 cases were effective,21 cases ineffective,the efficiency is 77.9%,the damp heat blockage group had the highest efficiency(85.7%),effective 18 cases,invalid 3 cases,blood stasis group were the lowest(55.6%),effective in 5 cases,invalid 4 cases,no statistically significant difference between the groups in the total efficiency of(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)the TCM Syndromes of RA are mainly cold dampness and dampness obstruction type.(2)The condition of RA was severe with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney.(3)RA Chinese medicine treatment is effective,and the effect of damp heat blockage type is better.
