Objective: 1.To understand the level of Post-Traumatic Growth and quality of life in postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer; 2.To analyze the influencing factors of Post-Traumatic Growth in the postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer; 3.To analyze the relationship between their quality of life and Post-Traumatic Growth. It will provide a theoretical basis for taking intervention measures to improve the life quality of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer. Methods: This study is a descriptive survey. By random sampling, the study selects 81 cases of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer, which is in accordance with the inclusive criteria and exclusive criteria during September 2014 to December 2015 in four level 3 hospital in Hunan. The patients were investigated by the general information questionnaire, the clinical information questionnaire, post-traumatic growth inventory and the University of Washington life quality questionnaire. The SPSS18.0 statistical software is used to analyze and process the data. Statistical methods include descriptive statistics analysis, t-Test, analysis of variance, Kruskal-Willis H test and multiple linear stepwise regression, Pearson,Spearman related analysis, etc. Results: 1.88 questionnaires dispensed, 81 valid questionnaires recovered, the effective rate of 92.05%; 2.The total score of Post-Traumatic Growth of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer is(53.58±7.01), the dimension score of interpersonal relationship, new possibilities, personal power, mental change and appreciating life and is(17.35±3.94),(12.64±3.89),(11.17±2.54),(5.21±2.27),(7.21±2.77) respectively; 3.The total score of life quality of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer is(777.72±122.09); 4.Univariate analysis shows that religious belief, place of residence, marital status, the postoperative time, the way of operation, complicated with other diseases, radiotherapy, functional exercise affect the score of Post-Traumatic Growth of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05); multiple linear stepwise regression analysis shows that religious belief(X1), family residence(X2), marital status(X3), the way of operation(X5), radiotherapy(X7) and postoperative functional exercise(X8) are put into the regression equation, the fitting multivariate linear regression equation is statistically significant(F=11.562,P=0.000).The patients who have religious belief, live in rural area, get married, have throat partly removed, have no radiotherapy and take functional exercise after operation show more obvious Post-Traumatic Growth; 5.Pearson correlation analysis shows that Post-Traumatic Growth of postoperative patient with laryngeal cancer and life quality are positively correlated(r=0.398), the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions: 1.Postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer could experience positive change and obtain Post-Traumatic Growth during fighting against cancer, the total score of Post-Traumatic Growth is(53.58±7.01); 2.The total score of life quality of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer is(777.72±122.09),the level is at upper moderate level; 3.Religious belief, family residence, marital status, the way of operation, radiotherapy and postoperative functional exercise are the main influencing factors of Post-Traumatic Growth of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer; 4.The Post-Traumatic Growth of postoperative patients with laryngeal cancer and their life quality are positively correlated.
