Objective:To detect the expression of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma tissue and in tissue adjacent to carcinoma FBXO31 by immunohistochemical method, analysis the expression difference of FBXO31 between bile duct carcinoma tissue and tissue adjacent to carcinoma,meanwhile analysis the relationship between the expression of FBXO31 and the pathological characteristics in bile duct cancer, to explore the application in the bile duct cancer development and diagnosis in bile duct carcinoma.Methods:To collect hepatobiliary surgery fresh tissue samples and fresh extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma tissue samples confirmed by pathological department( sample size are 40 cases) and corresponding bile duct tissues adjacent to carcinoma(confirmed by pathology), all patients have no chemo and radiotherapy before surgery and signed informed consent. All the bile duct carcinoma tissue grouped by age, gender,presence of lymph node metastasis, TNM stage, tumor differentiation degree and diameter, and to make statistical analysis the expression of FBXO31 in each group.Results:1. The positive expression rate of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma tissue in the nucleus is 92.5%,and the positive expression rate in cytoplasm of is 17.5%,and the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05), it can be concluded that the distribution of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma tissue is mainly in nucleus.2. The positive expression rate of FBXO31 in tissue adjacent to carcinoma in the nucleus is 47.5% and the positive expression rate in cytoplasm of is 70%, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05), it can be concluded that the distribution of FBXO31 in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma is mainly in cytoplasm.3. The positive expression rate of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma tissue is 92.5%, the positive expression rate of FBXO31 in tissue adjacent to carcinoma is 70%, and the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05), it can be concluded that the distribution of FBXO31 in the cancer tissue is higher than in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma.4. The expression of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma have no correlation with gender,age, tumor size, TNM stages, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis(P >0.05), there are no statistically significant difference.Conclusion:1. The distribution of FBXO31 in the cancer tissue is higher than in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma, prompt that FBXO31 involved in the process of cholangiocarcinoma.2. The distribution of FBXO31 in bile duct carcinoma have no correlation with gender,age, tumor size, TNM stages, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis(P >0.05),prompt that the expression of FBXO31 has nothing to do with gender, age,tumor size, TNM stages, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis.
