Objective: To investigate the expression of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 in human colorectal adenocarcinoma by Immunohistochemical SP method, analyze the correlation between FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 expression, and explore the significance of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 in the initiation, development, invasion and metastasis in colorectal adenocarcinoma. Methods: A total of 146 patients with colorectal adenocarcinoma who underwent surgery at the Central Hospital of Jiangjin District from January 1,2014 to December 31,2017,were selected for cancer and adjacent tissues, and all tissues were detected the expression of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 by immunohistochemical SP methodand. The clinical and pathological data of all the patients were collected, the relationship between the expression of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 in different clinical and pathological types was compared, and the correlation between their expressions was analyzed.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used for data processing.FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 were compared between groups with different clinical pathological data using chi-square test analysis or Fisher exact probability method. The relationship between FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 expression in colorectal adenocarcinoma was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis.P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:(1)FBXO31 is mainly expressed in the cytoplasm, and Cyclin D1 is mainly expressed in the nucleus.Among the 146 cases of adjacent tissues,112 cases were positively expressed FBXO31,and the positive expression rate was 76.71%.In 146 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma tissues,54 cases were positively expressed FBXO31,and the positive expression rate was 36.99%.The positive rate of adenocarcinoma group was higher than that of adjacent cancer group, the difference was statistically significant(?2=46.96,P<0.01).In the 146 cases of adjacent tissues,24 cases were found to be positively expressed Cyclin D1,and the positive expression rate was 16.44%.In 146 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma tissues,102 cases were positive for Cyclin D1,and the positive expression rate was 69.86%.The positive rate of adenocarcinoma group was lower than that of adjacent cancer group, and the difference was statistically significant(?2=84.94,P<0.01).(2)In the colorectal adenocarcinoma tissues, the expression of FBXO31 was correlated with tumor invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P<0.05),in addition, the expression of FBXO31 has no significant relationship with the patient's gender, age, tumor location, tumor size, degree of differentiation and distant metastasis(P>0.05).The expression of Cyclin D1 is associated with patient gender, depth of tumor invasion, lymph node metastasis,TNM stage, and distant metastasis(P<0.05),and the expression of Cyclin D1 has no significant relationship with the patient's age, tumor location, tumor size and degree of differentiation(P>0.05).(3)There was a correlation between FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 expression in colorectal adenocarcinoma tissues, and they were negatively correlated(r=-0.602,P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)The positive expression rate of FBXO31 in colorectal adenocarcinoma was lower than that in adjacent tissues, and it was related to tumor invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. The positive expression rate of Cyclin D1 in colorectal adenocarcinoma was higher than that in adjacent tissues, and it was related to gender, tumor infiltration depth, lymph node metastasis,TNM stage and distant metastasis.Suggesting that abnormal expression of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 may be involved in the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of colorectal adenocarcinoma.(2)The expression of FBXO31 and Cyclin D1 was negatively correlated in colorectal adenocarcinoma, indicating that they play opposite roles in the occurrence and development of colorectal adenocarcinoma.
