ObjectiveTo observe the improvement of pain, shoulder range of motion and function of the traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis, to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods67 patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table,34 cases in treatment group,33cases in control group. The treatment group treated with traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion, had traction therapy after needle warming through moxibustion, the control group received needle warming through moxibustion, continuous for 6 days of treatment, had 1 day off,2 weeks as 1 course of treatment. Before treatment and after two courses of treatment, using a visual analogue scale VAS, each shoulder range of motion, Constant-Murley shoulder score were evaluated, and had statistical data for statistical analysis. The improvement of pain, shoulder range of motion and function were observed before and after treatment, in order to assess the efficacy of treatment whether there are differences between the two groups.Results1.After two courses of treatment, VAS, each shoulder range of motion, Constant-Murley shoulder scores had statistical analysis inter-group before and after treatment, P<0.05, were with statistically significant, indicating that traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis, and needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis were both have effect.2.After two courses of treatment, VAS, Constant-Murley shoulder scores, each shoulder range of motion statistically analyzed after treatment,P<0.05, the differences were with statistically significant, indicating traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis were significantly better than the needle wanning through moxibustion group in the improvement on pain, shoulder range of motion and function of Constant-Murley shoulder scores.3.From the therapeutic effect, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.88%, the cure rate was 71.88%, improvement rate was 25.00%,3.12% of the not healed. In the control group, the total effective rate was 68.75%, the cure rate was 37.50%, improved rate of 31.25%,31.25% of invalidity. The total effective rate after chi-square test, P<0.05, with statistically significant, indicating that traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis were significantly better than the needle warming through moxibustion group.Conclusion1.traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis and the needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis were all effective.2. traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis was better than mere needle warming through moxibustion.3. traction therapy combined needle warming through moxibustion have improvement on Symptoms, range of motion, the function on the patients of scapulohumeral periarthritis, have significantly effect, it is an effective and worthy popularized treatment.
