Objective:To observe the influence of intravenous flurbiprofen axetil and tramadol on emergence agitation and postoperative pain in the patients after functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods:A randomized, controlled study. Ninety American Society of Anesthesiology(ASA) physical ststus Ⅰ~Ⅱ patients, undergoing functional endoscopic sinus surgery were divided into three groups:flurbiprofen axetil group(Group F), tramadol group (Group Q) and control group(Group N).All patients were received general anesthesia during the operation, before the end of the operation the patients in Group F were injected flurbiprofen axetil lmg/kg, Group N were injected tramadol 2mg/kg and Group N were injected 0.9%NaCL0.1 ml/kg. Observation & Records:The general data of the patients such as age, weight, operation method, duration of anesthesia, operation and extubation; The change of the blood pressure and heart rate at the end of surgery(TO), immediately after extubation(Tl),30 minutes after extubation(T2),4 hours after operation(T3),8 hours after operation(T4) and 24 hours after operation(T5); The degree of postoperative pain was accessed by the visual analogue scale(VAS)at 4h,8h,24h after the operation; The dosage of analgesic in 24 hours and the adverse reactions such as nausea, vomit, dizziness, respiratory depression after operation. Results:There were no statistically significant difference in the general data among the patients in the three groups (P>0.05). The systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate of patients in the three groups at TO and T5 presented no difference (P>0.05); The same indicators in Group F and Group Q were lower than Group N at T1, T2 and T3 (P<0.05); the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate of patients in Group F were lower than Group N and Group Q at T4(P<0.05),but there were no difference between Group N and Group Q at this point (P>0.05); The VAS scores of patients in Group F were lower than Group N at 4h,8h after operation (P<0.05), but there were no difference at 24h after operation (P>0.05).The VAS scores in Group Q at postoperative 4h were lower than Group N(P<0:05), but there were no difference at 8h and 24h after operation (P>0.05). The VAS scores between Group F and Group Q showed no significantly difference at postoperative 4h and 24h(P>0.05),but the results in Group F were significantly lower than Group Q (P<0.05).The incidence of agitation in post anesthesia care unit in Group N was higher than Group F and Group Q (P<0.05).The incidence of post-operative nausea and vomiting in Group Q was significantly higher than Group F and Group N (P<0.05). The adverse reactions such as dizziness, lethargy, respiratory depression and the dosage of analgesic in 24 hours showed no statistical significance difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:1, Intravenous injection of flurbiprofen axetil and tramadol at the and of nasal endoscopy surgery can relieve the early acute postoperative pain.2, the analgesic effect of flurbiprofen axetil is better than tramadol.3, Tramadol had high incidence of nausea and vomiting.
