Effect Of Needle Warming Moxibustion On The Expression Of IL-17 And IL-23 In The Serum Of Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:Through the observation of needle warming moxibustion on ulcerative colitis before and after treatment of TCM major symptoms integral and IL-17, IL-23 in the serum changes, to explore the effect of needle warming moxibustion on ulcerative colitis.Methods:According to the standards of inclusion criteria,a total of 60 patients with ulcerative colitis who were enrolled in the department of acupuncture and moxibustion, digestive and endoscopy rooms of Xiamen TCM hospital from February 2015 to December 2015 were included.They were divided randomly and equally into two groups as the treatment group and contrast group of 30 eases.Treatment group were treated with needle warming moxibustion while contrast group were treated by ordinary acupuncture,both with one treatment a day and 2 weeks for a course. The expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in serum were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The two groups of Patients before and after treatment to observe the treatment of syndrome integral and IL-17, IL-23 in the serum changes. Clinical data collected using statistical SPSS 18.0 software to statistics and analysis.Results:1. At the end of the treatment, the treatment group and contrast group before and after treatment in Patients with the main TCM symptoms integral difference had statistical significance (P<0.05); the main symptom scores after treatment in the two groups compared, the treatment group in improving Patients with abdominal Pain, diarrhea, bloody Purulent stool was better than that of the control group, the difference is statistically significant (P< 0.05).2. The treatment group and the control group in the treatment of the level of serum IL-17 and IL-23 treatment before were decreased significantly, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05), but the treatment group in lowered serum IL-17, IL-23 levels were significantly better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion:1. Needle warming moxibustion and ordinary acupuncture can significantly improve the main symptoms of the Patients with ulcerative colitis, but needle warming moxibustion in improving Patients with abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody Purulent stool symptoms was significantly better than the ordinary acupuncture.2. Needle warming moxibustion and ordinary acupuncture can reduce ulcerative colitis patients serum IL-17 and IL-23 levels, however, warm acupuncture and moxibustion in the lower level of both significantly better than ordinary acupuncture.,which may be the treatment of ulcerative colitis, one of the mechanisms.
