Studies On The Instant Effect Of "Zang Fu Bie Tong" Acupuncture Therapy Treating Nonspecific Low Back Pain

Objective:To explore the instant effect of Zang Fu Bie Tong therapy treated in nonspecific low back pain, and provid clinical evidence for Zang Fu Bie Tong therapy.Methods:60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by needling the contralateral thenar point, the control group was treated by needling the Jiaji and Ashi, Shenshu, Venezuela,two groups took 30 minutes for each treatment. Visual analogue scale (VisualAnalogScale, VAS) and lumbar vertebrae activity were selected as objective evaluation indexes before and after treatment, and the amount of acupuncture between the two groups was compared. Finally, used spss 18.0 software for statistical analysis on the collected data, and compared the differences between the two methods of treatment.Results:(1)There was a statistical significance within the VAS group before and after treatment,indicated that both groups could significantly improve the pain symptoms(table 2-3); (2)There was a statistical significance between two groups after treatment, suggested that the treatment group was better than the control group in relieving the degree of pain in patients with nonspecific low back pain(table 2-3). (3)There was significant different between the two groups before and after treatment within the lumbar activity group,indicated that both groups could improve the lumbar function(table 2-4, table 2-5); (4)There was no significant difference between different lumbar activitiy groups before and after treatment, indicated that difference in improving lumbar function in patients with nonspecific low back pain in two groups was not obvious(table 2-7).(5)There was significant difference between two groups of acupuncture dosage,indicated that the treatment group was more convenient than the control group(table 2-8).Conclusion:Needing the thenar acupoint on the healthy side to treat nonspecific low back pain was considered having good instant effect under the guidance of Zang Fu Bie Tong theory.lt could significantly relieve the patient’s pain and improve their lumbar functions.Compared with the common clinical methods, it had less points and was more effective in reducing the pain.Therefore,this method was worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
