The Applicability Of The Eastern China Predicition Equations For Normal Adult Lung Function In Wuxi

ObjectiveTo collect information of normal adult pulmonary function in Wuxi,and to verify the applicability of the Eastern China predicition equations for pulmonary function parameters.Objects and MethodsA total of 300 subjects adults without respiratory symptoms or smoking habits were participated in the study.The age of these subjects,ranged from18 to 80 years old,with a mean age of((48.66±17.25))years.Pumonary function parameters were collected including VC 、FVC、FEV1 、FEV1/FVC、PEF、FEF25%,FEF50%、FEF75%、TLC、FRC、RV、RV/TLC、DLCO�'� KCO. Parameters of pulmo1 nary function were compared with the old predicted values from measure values,P>0.05,except for FEF25%.The new prediction equations were established by multiple regression analysis,then to get the new prediction values.Analysis the relevance of the old predicted values from the the new prediction values.Results1.The actually measure parameters were close to the predicted values. VC 3.88±0.69vs3.9±0.81,FVC 3.77±0.67 vs 3.79±0.77,FEV1 3.17±0.62 vs 3.16±0.67,FEV1/FVC 83.89±3.91 vs 83.40±5.31,PEF 8.17±1.44 vs 8.16±1.6,FEF25% 7.08±1.06 vs 6.97±1.33,FEF50% 4.48±0.68 vs 4.58±1.51,FEF75% 1.91±0.52 vs 1.91±0.71,TLC 5.61±0.84 vs 5.66±0.98,FRC 3.02±0.34 vs 2.98±0.71,RV 1.76±0.32 vs 1.76±0.42,RV/TLC 31.39±4.74 vs 31.28±6.00,DLCO 28.59±4.34 vs 28.73±4.95,KCO 4.91±0.51 vs 4.89±0.57.compare the each pair of the values P>0.05,excpet for FEF25%。2.
