ObjectiveThis research adopte the acupoint sticking therapy treatment of exogenous febrile disease, through the acupoint sticking therapy combined with conventional therapy, compared with the conventional therapy group, observed TCM clinical symptoms and 30 min,60 min 90min and 120min temperature changes after the start of treatment, by comparing the toal effective rate and body temperature changes of the two groups of patients, to evaluate the clinical curative effect and safety of acupoint sticking therapy combined with conventional therapy.MethodsThis research included 72 cases of exogenous fever (conformed to the diagnosis standard and inclusion criteria) aged more than 14,were randomly divided into the experimental group (combined acupoint sticking therapy with conventional therapy)and control group (conventional therapy group). Two groups of patients were given conventional therapy combined traditional Chinese and western medicine, did not use antipyretic analgesic diugs, the experimental group was increased acupoint sticking therapy on the basis of it. We mixed a small amount of vinegar into the flour of radix bupleuri (radix bupleuri for 3 g) and artemisia annua(artemisia annua for 3 g) by the proportion of 1:1. It was applied in the da zhui acupuncture, qu chi acupuncture(two sides) and fei shu acupuncture(two sides) for 1 time/1 day,4-6 hours/time. It used a course of treament to treat every time for a application of size of 6 cm*6 cm*2 cm, temperature of 38~40℃. We compared the changes of the clinical effect and temperature of the two groups, finally appiieded SPSS 19.0 software to analyze statistical data and get conclusions. Compared and evaluated the clinical curative effect and safty by combining acupoint sticking therapy with conventional therapy.Results1.Compared temperature changes of the control group with the experimental groupCompared temperature changes of the two groups (the experimental group was 39.17±0.20,39.23±0.24 in the control group) before treatment, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05);Compared temperature changes of the two groups (the experimental group was 39.03±0.14,39.07±0.19 in the control group) after 30 min treatment, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05);Compared temperature changes of the two groups after 60 min,90 min,120 min treatment, there was statistical significance(P<0.05).2. Compared the clinical effect of the control group with the experimental groupCompared the clinical effect of the two groups, there some differences between them. We had cured 6 cases, had markedly improved 12 cases, had improved 12 cases, had not improved 6 cases in the control group. We had cured 10 cases, had markedly improved 18 cases, had improved 6 cases, had not improved 2 cases in the experimental group. The research showed the total effective rate of the experimental group was 94.44%, better than the control group with 83.33%, there was statistical significance(P<0.05).3. Compared the clinical symptoms improved of the control group with the experimental group after treatmentCompared the clinical symptoms improved of the control group with the experimental group after treatment, experimental group evil wind chill disappeared at a rate of 89%, pharynx swelling disappeared at a rate of 81%, cough disappeared at a rate of 83%, nasal congestion disappeared at a rate of 89%, runny nose disappeared at a rate of 86%, sneezing disappeared at a rate of 83%, sputum disappeared at a rate of 78%;control group evil wind chill disappeared at a rate of72%, pharynx swelling disappeared at a rate of 67%, cough disappeared at a rate of 72%, nasal congestion disappeared at a rate of 69%, runny nose disappeared at a rate of 69%, sneezing disappeared at a rate of 67%, sputum disappeared at a rate of 64%. After statistical analysis and comparison, the clinical symptoms improved significantly in experimental group is better than that of control group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05). Acupoint sticking combined conventional therapy has an antifebrile effect and alleviate the clinical symptoms of evil wind chill, pharynx irritation, coughing, stuffy nose, runny nose, sneezing, and coughing up phlegm and others.ConclusionThrough temperature changes and the total effective rate of the two groups, we observe the clinical effect of treatment combined acupoint sticking therapy with conventional therapy. The temperature of the two groups after treatment has been declining, there is a trend of decline in the treatment of 2 hours. The research showed temperature changes and the total effective rate of the experimental group are better than the control group. Combining acupoint sticking therapy with conventional therapy has the function of improving the clinical effect, this therapy has a good effect of decreasing of the temperature.
