The Treatment Of Heat Sensitive Moxibution Impact On The Symptom And The Quality Of Life Of Allergic Rhinitis

ObjectiveThis research adoptes the prospective study method to discusse the treatment of heat sensitive moxibution impact on the symptom and the quality of life of Allergic rhinitis. Through the comparison of heat sensitive moxibution and general moxibution to choose the better therapy. Explore laws of heat sensitive point of Allergic rhinitis.MethodsThis study collected 80 cases of syndrome belonged to the deficient of lung and spleen qi weaken combined nose catch cold. According to the odd-even sequence to hospital, patients were randomly divided into the two group taken in trial group(heat sensitive moxibution) and matched group(general moxibution). Both groups of patients chose the same method to find the heat sensitive point and keep accurate records of this points. Then trial group use of heat sensitive moxibution to threat Allergic rhinitis,40 minutes treatment everyday,6 days as one course excepted other treatment methods. Matched group use of general moxibution to threat Allergic rhinitis,40 minutes treatment everyday,6 days as one course excepted other treatment methods. Two groups of subjects were in a week before and after the treatment and after the treatment of three months, each time all fill in the quality of life at and symptoms signs scale and visual analogue. Complete quality of life and symptom grades and scored of VAS in each group subjects and then analyzed statistically.Results1. The improvement of life quality in the patients(1) Within each group before and after and after 3 months the treatment group comparison:the rest of the life quality in each dimension and total score before and after treatment were statistically significant (P＜0.05), the results show both of heat sensitive moxibution and general moxibution could improve the quality of life of patients. (2)Two groups the quality of life in each dimension and the total score before and after treatment are no significant difference in practical matters, ocular symptoms and emotions(P＞0.05);the rest dimensions and mean score were statistically significant (P<0.05), the results show that both of heat sensitive moxibution and general moxibution no diference in practical matters, ocular symptoms and emotions, but heat sensitive moxibution improved overall quality of life better than general moxibution. (3) Two groups the quality of life in each dimension and the total score after three months of treatment are no significant difference in sleep and practical matters(P＞0.05);the rest dimensions and mean score were statistically significant (P<0.05), the results show that both of heat sensitive moxibution and general moxibution no diference in practical matters and sleep, but heat sensitive moxibution improved overall quality of life better than general moxibution.2. Two groups curative effect comparison between after and after 3 months of treatment Through the symptom grades between before and after the treatment to evaluation of curative effect. Under the good balance condition of baseline data and using different statistical methods:(1)overall response rate of the comprehensive effect in the trial group was 90%, which was better than that of matched group 65%after the treatment, was statistically significant (P＜0.05); (2) overall response rate of the comprehensive effect in the trial group was 65%, which was better than that of matched group 30%after 3 months of the treatment, was statistically significant (P＜0.05); (3)Two groups curative effect comparison between after and after 3 months of treatment:trial group:0 cases was improved up to two classes,1 cases was improved up to one classes,39 cases were no changed or exacerbation; matched group:0 cases was improved up to two classes,6 cases were improved up to one classes,34 cases were no changed or exacerbation, was statistically significant (P＜0.05).3. The heat sensitive points of Allergic rhinitis more in such channels in our body plenty of Yang qi and the Governor Vessel; high usage heat sensitive points are:Yingxiang point, Yintang point, Shangxing point, Dazhui point, Feishu point, Pishu point, Shenshu point, Baihui point,Shenque point, Zu Sanli point, Hegu point, San Yinjiao point, Yongquan point.Conelusion1. The heat sensitive moxibution can improve the quality of life and alleviate the clinical symptoms of allergic rhinitis, worthy of clinical promotion.2.
