Research background:Currently, there are many risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease research.Rural population compared with city community people have lower education level, poorer medical treatment level, less cognitive activity, more physical activity, etc. So far, it is lack of specific clinical data about epidemiological features of ADrisk factors in AD in rural Shandong province. Objective:Analysis the risk factor of Alzheimer’s disease in the countryside elderly from Shandong Province Yan Lou town.Method:It was a cross-sectional study which is divided into two phase. We conducted an epidemiologic survey on residents aged 60-85 in Yanlou, Yanggu, Liaocheng city,Shandong Province in August, December of 2014 and November of 2015. According to the clinical diagnostic 2011 NIA-AA(National Institute of Aging and Alzheimer’s Association):AD(Alzheimer’s disease) and MCI(mild cognitive impairment),MCI patients are further classified based on whether has memory impairment:amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI), non-amnestic mild cognitive impairment (naMCI). The survey tools include general items questionnaire, Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR).Results:Analysis 2377 data,1908(81.64%) people with normal cognitive function,aMCI type by 247(10.39%),Alzheimer’s disease (AD) type dementia by 127 people (7.97%).1.Compare the normal group and the dementia group:1)Chi-square analysis showed: marital status, education level, smoking, drinking, oral hygiene, thyroid disease, cerebral infarction, P<0.05, there were statistically significant.2)The higher education level (secondary and higher education), pay attention to oral hygiene (brushing) showed a lower risk of AD,the OR value less than 1.The education level had more influential influence, while its OR value was 0.143.2.Compare the normal group and aMCI groups:1) chi-square analysis showed:Life Event Scale in the death of their loved ones, change their state of health, the death of loved ones, have had frightening experiences, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significance.2) binary multivariate logistics regression test analysis:The results showed that these projects do not have a P value of<0.05, indicating there had none risk factor between the normal person and the aMCI group.Conclusions:1.Higher education, pay attention to oral hygiene (brushing) are protective factors for Alzheimer’s disease, can reduce the prevalence of AD.2.There were not very clear independent risk factor between the normal group and the aMCI group. But we still have to pay attention to the health of aMCI patients to delay the disease’s progression.
