The Clinical Research Of Impact Of The Tongnaoyizhitang On Vascular Cognitive Impairment No Dementia

Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of the Tongnaoyizhitang on the vascular cognitive impairment, investigating the method of Chinese medicine about vascular cognitive impairment.To improve clinical control rate in patients with vascular cognitive impairment, reduce the incidence of dementia in the final, effectively delay the progress of the disease, reduce the burden on the patient’s family and society.Research methods:The targets are Outpatient and inpatient of 50-80 years old with a history of cerebrovascular in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of traditional medicine. We provided MoCA and Hanchinski and CDR neuropsychological scale to evaluate the cognitive function in patients with vascular cognitive impairment to ensure experiment stuff.we collect those patients’general information, medical history, and so on. In the study we collected 30 patients and divided them into two average groups(the treatment and contrast group). The contrast group with basic treatment,on the basis of the contrast group therapy, Tongnaoyizhi grain are added in treatment group. The two group are treated for 3 months. The outcome measures:Cognitive Functioning Scale score, including ①the use of instrumental activities of daily living scale (ADL)②non-cognitive characteristics:Blessed Behavior Scale (BBS), cognitive function:Alzheimer Disease Assessment Scale (ADAS-cog), TCM syndrome score (SDSVD), and serum markers:blood homocysteine (HCY). Recording and analyzing these indicators before and after treatment were observed.Research result:The total effective rate in patients treated with 26.67% in the treatment group, the contrast group’s effective rate was 6.67%. The difference between treatment group and control group, such as Blessed Behavior Scale (BBS), TCM syndrome score (SDSVD) and blood homocysteine (HCY) are meaningful.Analysis conclusion:Tongnaoyizhitang can treat vascular cognitive impairment effectivity, vascular cognitive impairment in patients with non-cognitive characteristics, TCM symptoms and blood homocysteine, etc. have significantly improved, compare to Western medicine has obvious advantages.
