| Objective:to explore the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Buhuanjin Zhengqi Powder in treatment of accumulation of cold and dampness syndrome of diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome by theoretical research and clinical research areas,and to explore its therapeutic mechanism.Methods:Collect 60 patients with accumulation of cold and dampness,and then divide them into 2 groups randomly.30 of the patients were divided into the treatment group, which were treated with Jiawei Buhuanjin Zhengqi Powder. The remaining 30 patients were in control group, treated with Bifico. The course of treatment was 4 weeks.Before treatment,after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,the symptom scores were recorded.Results:Jiawei Buhuanjin Zhengqi Powder can relieve more significantly the symptoms such as break out or exacerbate after catch cold or overwork,chilly,loss of appetite, borborygmus than the western medicine (P<0.05).In the stomachache or abdominal distention, stool frequency,character of stool, two groups have the same effect (P>0.05).In the clinical,the number of cases of clinical cure of the treatment group and control group were 3 cases and 1 case respectively.Markedly effective cases were 22 cases and 11 cases. The number of effective cases were 4 cases and 15 cases,while the number of invalid cases were 1 cases and 3 cases respectively.Markedly effective rate of the treatment group and the effective rate were 83.3% and 96.7%,while the curative rate and total effective rate of the control group were 40%and 90%respectively.The curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).There were no adverse reactions in two groups during treatment.Conclusion:The clinical trials have shown,Both Jiawei Buhuanjin Zhengqi Powder and Bifico are Proved to be effective and safe for IBS-D Patients,but Jiawei Buhuanjin Zhengqi Powder has better curative effect.
