Objective:By investigating the part-time MPH graduates from 2003 to 2010 in China CDC, carry on the analysis of the graduates’ evaluation of the part-time MPH education, their working status and ability of their own. In order to give advice on reformation and development of the part-time MPH education of China CDC.Methods:During the part-time MPH graduates’ investigation work, we repeatedly argument investigation plan and questionnaire, to contact graduates by classes, to obtain contact information and investigate the mobilization, set up network survey platform and so on, Learning through the questionnaire of anonymous surveys, with the help of the Epidemiological Dynamic Data Collection(EDDC) platform in China CDC, recycling questionnaire data, export data from the platform, and analysis data with software SAS9.2.Results:There are 370 graduates from 2003 to 2010 in MPH of China CDC, We have been contacted by 347 graduates, Until January 2016, We had received 260 valid questionnaires, effective recovery rate is 74.93%.95.4% of the graduates have a higher opinion of satisfaction about the part-time MPH education of China CDC, 71.1% of the graduates have a higher opinion of "social practice activity", "extra-curricular activities" and "campus culture", "logistics service", "the implementation of rewards and punishment system" in a satisfactory level accounted for 53.9%,58.1%,62.3% and 58.1% respectively, the evaluation of other items are more than 80%. In the training phase,51.2% of graduates’ difficulties during study is "it is difficult to communicate with teachers ". In terms of the necessity of the curriculum,59.2% of graduates think "senior health economy" is necessary to open, other courses are more than 70%; In terms of course content and scope, "senior health economic" and" professional English course", respectively,48.5% and 62.3% of graduates agree its content and scope, other courses are more than 70%. In working condition,82.7% of the graduates have a higher opinion of their work situation, in the ability condition evaluation of oneself, on above the "good" level, except the "English" (38.1%), "the scientific research ability (70.8%)", "oral communication ability (78.4%)", "computer operation level (74.6%)", "medical knowledge" (74.6%), the ability of other items are more than 80%, some subjects as "oral communication ability", "computer operation level", "medical knowledge" and related to the working satisfaction of graduates," English ", "scientific research ability and there was no significant difference with job satisfaction," the degree of achieve the goal of study " related to the part-time MPH education satisfaction and working satisfaction.Conclusion:1.The evaluation of part-time MPH education, working condition and the ability condition evaluation of oneself is better.95.4% of the graduates have a higher opinion of education’s satisfaction about the part-time MPH of China CDC, it is higher than the similar research. In the "campus culture", "rewards and punishment system", "logistics service" and "after school activities", the proportion of graduates more than satisfactory are around 60%, it is lower than the similar research. In terms of the necessity of the curriculum,59.2% of graduates think "senior health economy" is necessary to open, other courses are more than 70%; In terms of course content and scope, "senior health economic" and" professional English course", respectively, 48.5% and 62.3% of graduates agree its content and scope, other courses are more than 70%. "senior health economy" needs further evaluation. In working condition, 82.7% of the graduates have a higher opinion of their work situation, in the ability condition evaluation of oneself, on above the "good" level, except the "English" (38.1%), "the scientific research ability (70.8%)", "oral communication ability (78.4)","computer operation level (74.6)", "medical knowledge" (74.6), the ability of other items are more than 80%,The whole quality of the graduates is good.2. Graduates of gender, education situation, correlation degree subject and work, the degree of the desired target school, job satisfaction is the main factor affecting the in-service MPH education overall satisfaction, undergraduate education for in-service MPH education have an impact on overall satisfaction, but not significant.3. In promoting students’ ability, "oral communication ability" is important to ascension, "computer operation level" and "basic knowledge of medicine" also needs to be improved.4. Combined with the results, this study thought the following aspects to improve part-time MPH education:First, change some curriculum; Second, improve the degree of relationship between subjects and work, set up suitable goal during the school. Third, according to the weak aspect of graduates, combined with their working condition, find out which ability should be arranged in specific teaching or curriculum; Fourth, take measures to strengthen the communication between students and teachers. |
