The proportion of elderly in China has reached 14.8%. We will face the challenge of elderly society at the stage of low income that has never been met worldwide. The traditional mode of elderly care at home and in professional institution can no longer meet the need for increasing number of older elderly, disabled elderly, elderly with chronic diseases and those without children.However, nowadays the institutions for medical care and nursing home have themselves systems and are independent with each other, which may make the elderly not receive timely treatment and have to transfer among family, hospital and elderly care institution when they suffer disease or cannot care themselves independently. It may also increase the expenses and the burden of family. How to provide medical care for the largest elderly population in the world has become an unavoidable issue to the professionals in the field of social security and relevant government departments when the social security system for elderly care is still under development. Therefore, it is impressive to establish and improve the elderly care mode of treatment combined with health cultivation, which may be achieved through the cooperation of medical care institutions and elderly care units.Under the impetus of the national policy in recent years, the domestic many areas for "Medical-Nursing Combined Care Mode", endowment patterns are made a beneficial try, there are four main modes:one is endowment agencies qualifications additional medical services. The advantages of tuina, acupuncture and moxibustion, taichi and herbal cuisine in helping the elderly make it indispensable for the elderly care. Therefore, the construction of ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation in the community health center with basic healthcare facilities may provide elderly care service at neighborhood, which may meet the need of elderly to stay at homeland, especially when hospital and the family could not provide care. It may be a helpful exploration to develop the elderly care mode of treatment combined with health cultivation suiting to China.The thesis reported a questionnaire survey conducted in the Sunhe Community Health center in Beijing Chaoyang District. It also described the process of construction of ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation and summarized the experience and possible problems. It explored the feasibility of construction of ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation in community health center based on available experience in Beijing, and provide an effective solution to the increasing need of elderly care.There are eight sections in the thesis. The first one is the literature review on the recent relevant research in China and the introduction of innovation points in the thesis. The second one is discusses the research background, reviews the current definition of the concept of "Medical-Nursing Combined Care Mode", and this article research Angle of view, elaborated the research ideas and methods of this whole article, indicating the research purpose and meaning. The third part of the current "Medical-Nursing Combined Care "for the elderly-mode of classification, and the case analysis, for each model types of comprehensive comparative study. The fourth one is about "Medical-Nursing Combined Care Mode" pension services into the advantage of the characteristics of TCM service in detail. The fifth one is the analysis on the feasibility of construction of ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation in community health center through the availability and convenience of health care services. The sixth one is the detailed description on the construction of ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation in Sunhe Community Health Center through a questionnaire survey. The seventh one discussed some problems found in the process of ward construction in the community health center and also proposed some suggestions based on the experience in Sunhe Community Health Center. And finally concluded that it was feasible to construct ward characterized by TCM treatment combined with health cultivation, which may help alleviate the impression of providing medical care for the large elderly population in the future. It is also a helpful effort to develop an elderly care mode of treatment combined with health cultivation with Chinese characteristics. |
