The Comparative Study Of Jieguyao Pill On Interbody Fusion In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation And Instability After MIS-TLIF

Objective:Evaluation of Jieguyao pills for lumbar disc herniation and instability affect intervertebral fusion MIS-TLIF.Methods:In this study, a prospective randomized non-blinded parallel control method; The March 2014-December 2014 in our hospital inpatient wards spine single segment of lumbar disc heraiation and instability in 60 patients,according to the order of their admission in accordance with the random number table will be divided into two groups of experimental and control groups, all patients in the expanded channel downstream MIS-TLIF; after two groups were given conventional treatment, while the test group received oral Jieguyao pills, medicine control group was not given to intervene; one day their preoperative and postoperative 1 month, after 3 months,1 year after surgery to assess the VAS score and recorded, while observing the fusion of the lumbar spine after one year, the case of a plant failure and clinical intervertebral height loss data and its statistical analysis.Results:Patients were followed up for 1 year,60 patients have completed the final follow-up review by the clinic.54 patients achieved bony fusion, one case of a loose screw channel. Interbody fusion rate 1 year after the experimental group than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); disc height loss rate 1 year after the test group than the control group, the difference statistically significant (P<0.05); implant failure rate after one year in the test group than the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05); surgery one day before the test group and the control group VAS score compared with no significant difference (P> 0.05); experimental group after 1 month, after 3 months and 1 year after the VAS scores were lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Jieguyao pills used in lumbar disc herniation and instability disorder MIS-TLIF surgery, to maintain disc space height, reduced disc height loss rate, increase the rate of interbody fusion, but also can improve the situation of pain patients.
