Objective:This study intends to through the production of gastric ulcer in rats and to observe the effect of prescription with liquorice Xiexin Decoction on rat efficacy and of PGE2 and EGF in rats, to explore the mechanism of classical prescriptions in the treatment of gastric ulcer, for clinical application of classical prescriptions for preventing and treating gastric ulcer provide ideas and theoretical basis.Methods:Method of making rat model of gastric ulcer by acetic acid daub, rats were randomly divided into for five groups:normal group, model group, cimetidine group, Gancao Xiexin Decoction high dose group, low dose group. Rats were treated for 10 days. After 24 hours of fasting, the rats were given intraperitoneal anesthesia, followed by cardiac blood sampling, and the supernatant was removed after centrifugation. After the blood sampling, the stomach and gastric juice were collected by laparotomy, the supernatant was removed after centrifugation, and the supernatant was stored at -20. Observation of liquorice Xiexin Decoction on acetic acid induced digestive ulcer rat epidermal growth factor and prostaglandin, pepsin, gastrin, gastric juice volume effect.Results:(1)Comparison of cimetidine group and licorice Xie Xin Decoction high dose group, low dose group and normal group. The expression of EGF were significantly increased, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);cimetidine group and licorice Xie Xin Decoction high dose group, low dose group and model group, EGF expression were significantly increased, and the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05); licorice Xie Xin Decoction low dose group and cimetidine group (P>0.05). No statistical significance. (2)Cimetidine group and model group compared prostaglandin content increased significantly(P< 0.05);high dose group, low dose group and model group compared prostaglandin content increased significantly (P<0.05), the difference is statistically significant; liquorice Xiexin Decoction high dose group, low dose group and cimetidine group compared(P>0.05), no statistical significance. (3) Cimetidine group, licorice Xie Xin Decoction high dose group and model group compared pepsin activity decreased significantly(P <0.05), significant difference has statistical significance; cimetidine group, licorice Xie Xin Decoction low dose group and model group compared pepsin activity decreased significantly(P<0.05), significant difference has statistical significance. (4) Cimetidine group compared with the model group, the gastrin content decreased significantly(P<0.01), the differences of statistical significance; high dose group, low dose group and model group were compared, the gastrin content decreased significantly(P<0.05), the differences of statistical significance;Gan grass Xiexin Decoction high dose group, low dose group and cimetidine group (P>0.05), No statistical significance. (5)Cimetidine group and model group compared gastric juice volume decreased significantly(P< 0.01),the differences of statistical significance;compared with liquorice Xiexin Decoction high dose group, low dose group and model group, gastric juice volume decreased significantly(P<0.05), the differences of statistical significance.Conclusion:Gancaoxiexin decoction can effectively reduce gastric mucosal injury of gastric ulcer induced by acetic acid in rats, decreased significantlyUlcer index.The mechanism may be with increased epidermal growth factor and prostaglandin, reduce the activity of pepsin and inhibit the secretion of gastrin and other ways. Licorice decoction has obvious anti ulcer effect.
