Objective:In this study,Chaoyi Jiawei Bawu Decoction was used to detect the ulce r index and ulcer inhibition rate of gastric ulcer model rats,and to observe t he regulation of superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),epid ermal growth factor(EGF)and prostaglandin E2(PGE2)in serum,and to ex plore its anti-ulcer mechanism,so as to provide experimental basis for the ap plication of Chaoyi Jiawei Bawu Decoction inm clinic and provide Chaoyi effect ive prescriptions for the treatment of gastric ulcer to increase drug selectivity.Methods:60 SD rats(male,aged 3 months)were divided into six groups randoml y:normal control group,gastric ulcer model group,Chaoyao group(low-dose,medium-dose,high-dose groups of Jiawei Bawu decoction)and positive contr ol group(ranitidine group),10 rats in each group.The model was made by i ntragastric administration of anhydrous ethanol.After successful intragastric adm inistration,the experimental group and the positive control group were gven c orresponding therapeutic drugs*while the model group and the normal control group were given the same amount of normal saline.Blood and tissue samples were collected after 14 days of drug intervention to determine the correspondi ng indicators.Result:1.Superoxide dismutase:Compared with model group,the activity of supe roxide dismutase in the Chaoyao group and the positive control group was hig her with statistical significance(P<0.01).Compared with the positive control group,the content of superoxide dismutase in the high-dose group of Jiawei Bawu decoction increased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the positive control group,the content of superoxide dismutase in the medium-dose group of Jiawei Bawu Decoction increased,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).2.Malondialdehyde:Compared with model group,malondialdehyde(MDA)content in the Chaoyao group and the positive control group was lower with statistical significance(P<0.01).Malondialdehyde content in the positive cont rol group was lower than that in the low-dose and medium-dose groups of Jia wei Bawu decoction with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the positive control group,the content of MDA in the high-dose group of Jiawe i Bawu Decoction decreased,with no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Epidermal growth factor:Compared with model group,epidermal growt h factor levels in the Chaoyao group and the positive control group were high er than those in the model group with statistical significance(P<0.01).Com pared with the positive control group,the content of epidermal growth factor in the middle-dose and high-dose groups of Jiawei Bawu Decoction increased s ignificantly(P<0.01).Compared with the positive control group,the content of epidermal growth factor increased in the low-dose group of Jiawei Bawu Decoction,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05)4.Prostaglandin:Compared with model group,the content of prostaglandi n in Zhaoyao group and positive control group was higher than that in model group with statistical significance(P<0.01).Compared with the positive contr ol group,the content of prostaglandin in the middle-dose and high-dose grou ps of Jiawei Bawu decoction increased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the positive control group,the content of prostaglandin in the low-dose grou p of Jiawei Bawu Decoction increased,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).5.Ulcer index:Compared with the model group,the ulcer index of Cha oyao group and the positive control group decreased significantly,and the dif ference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The ulcer index of the positive control group was lower than that of the low-dose and medium-dose groups o f Jiawei Bawu decoction,the difference with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the positive control group,the ulcer index of the high-dos e group of Jiawei Bawu Decoction decreased,with no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Chaoyi Jiawei Bawu Decoction can effectively reduce the ulcer index of rats with gastric ulcer induced by absolute alcohol.2.Chaoyi Jiawei Bawu Decoction has protective effect on gastric ulcer model rats.Its mechanism may be related to the improvement of superoxidedis mutase,malondialdehyde,epidermal growth factor,prostaglandin and other indicators.
