Objective:Through detecting arterial elasticity index AASI and baPWV of the elderly H-type Hypertension, combined with traditional Chinese medicine theory, analyze the correlation between AASI,baPWV and TCM syndrome types, which provides new way of traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and control of H-type hypertension; Analyze the influencing factors of AASI and baPWV, to explore the early intervention of atherosclerosis disease, and provide a new way to prevent the cardio-cerebral events. Methods:Slecting 120 cases of elderly patients who according with diagnostic criteriahas of H-type hypertension.Questionnaire survey for the patient was conducted in accordance with the unified questionnaires, on the premise of following the principle of TCM four diagnosis, to make detailed four cases included in the clinical observation and records, including symptoms, pulse condition, tongue, and TCM syndrome type. Collecting general condition(gender, age, past medical history, family history, smoking history, body mass index), cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), fasting blood glucose, creatinine, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate transaminasec; adopting Colin company of Japanese BP-203 automatic arteriosclerosis detector RPE-II(VP- 1000)collect baPWV value and ankle brachial index, Using health care company in wuxi CB-2302-A type blood pressure dynamic ecg recorder for selected patients to ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, collection AASI values of patients. Using hospital clinical laboratory American beckman AU5421 analyzer, enzymatic detection of Hcy in cycle.Results:(1),120 cases of H-type hypertension, male patients with 62 cases, 58 patients with women, men and women ratio is about 1.07:1. Men and women ratio of Yin and Yang deficiency, hyperctive liver Yang syndrone, phlegm dampness stagnation, hyperctive Yang and Yin deficiency are 1.19:1, 1.33:1, 1:1. 38,1.17:1.Through statistical analysis, ratio between different syndrome types(P > 0.05,no statistical significance;(2) This study includes 120 cases of H-type hypertension patients, involving the TCM syndrome types are divided into four categories, followed by hyperctive liver Yang group, accounting for 25.83%;phlegm dampness stagnation, accounting for 23.33%;hyperctive Yang and Yin deficiency, accounted for21.67%, Yin and Yang deficiency groupe, accounting for 29.17%;Yin and Yang deficiency groupe had the greatest proportion of the four group(3) The baPWV value of Yin and Yang deficiency differences between groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05) with Yin deficiency type hand, phlegmy wet indicates, Yin and Yang deficiency; No obvious difference was found between Ba PWV value between the other groups;(4) Yin and Yang deficiency’s AASI value was obviously higher than the other type’s and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05), other AASI value has no obvious difference between the groups.(5) the Pearson correlation analysis showed that baPWV with age, sex, systolic blood pressure, smoking history and Hcy levels were positively correlated;Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, gender, systolic blood pressure, smoking history, and Hcy are baPWV’s influence factorsis, while Ba PWV as dependent variable, and age, gender, systolic blood pressure, smoking history, Hcy as independent variable;(6) the Pearson correlation analysis showed that AASI is negatively correlated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(hdl-c) and heart rate. But AASI is positively correlated with age, sex, pulse pressure, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and Hcy levels;Further using multiple linear regression analysis showes that age, pulse pressure difference, Hcy, heart rate are the influencing factors of AASI.Conclusion:(1) Yin and Yang deficiency is the important type of H hypertension patient’s TCM syndrome. baPWV and AASI of Yin and Yang deficiency patients were higher than other elderly H hypertension patient;(2) Systolic blood pressure, smoking history, age, gender and Hcy is the influencing factors of baPWV.Hcy, heart rate, age, pulse pressure difference is the influencing factors of AASI. While the age and Hcy is the common influencing factors of baPWV and AASI.Reducing Hcy can prevent the happening of the hardening of the arteries.
