Quality Of Life Analysis For Patients With Pituitary Adenoma After Treated By Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Or Operation Assistance With Neural Endoscopy

Object:the physiological and mental conditions of pituitary adenoma patients is part of the major contents to estimate the operation curative effect. Quality of Life questionnaires is the evaluation of patients’ physiological and mental state. The research use Quality of Life Questionnaire pays a return visit to the patients after the pituitary adenoma operation treatments, then assess the quality of life of patients whom after Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and endoscopic operation.Method: review the 210 pituitary adenoma patients’ clinical and image date, for which take Gamma knife and endoscopic operation treatments in Xiang Ya Hospital of Center South University during the month from 2012/1-2015/4, then visit the patients and fill in the Quality of Life questionnaire. Depending on the different therapy group the patients into three groups: Gamma Knife Group, Surgery Group and surgery+ Gamma Knife Group. Through QOL-The Skull Base inventory estimates the patient’s quality of life.Result:1. With the increase of time, surgery group of patients’ quality of life has increased.2. Pituitary macro adenoma patients divided into three groups, based on the unique gender, there is no difference between the three groups of Quality of Life score.3. Surgery group, there is nothing passing between pituitary macro adenoma and giant pituitary adenoma in quality of life score.4. The pituitary macro adenoma patients’ quality of life score in Gamma Knife group and surgery group has altered.Conclusion: With the increase of time, surgery group of patients’ quality of life has increased; the pituitary macro adenoma patients’ quality of life score in Gamma Knife group and surgery group has different.
