Clinical Research About Angong Niuhuang Wan Auxiliary Of Haloperidol In The Treatment Of Postoperative Delirium In The ICU

Objective: To observe angong niuhuang wan auxiliary haloperidol treatment of ICU clinical curative effect and safety of postoperative delirium.Methods: A prospective study of xinjiang medical university first affiliated hospital intensive medicine patients(January 2013 to December 2014), using intensive medical consciousness fuzzy assessment method in the ICU, collection of delirium in patients with 243 people, were randomly divided into angong niuhuang wan auxiliary haloperidol treatment(group A),pure haloperidol treatment group(F).Record patients’ age, gender, weight, acute physiology and chronic health evaluation system Ⅱ, delirium parting, hemodynamic situation, the duration of delirium, ICU treatment time, EEG abnormal rate, incidence of postoperative complications, improve discharge rate and postoperative mortality and other clinical data, 28 days and determination of two groups of patients according to beta in serum protein, interleukin 6, tumor necrosis factor alpha level(delirium confirmed/T0, the first day after treatment/T1, the second day/T2, the third day/T3).Results there was no statistically significant difference compared two groups of patients with general data, and the treatment duration of delirium, ICU time shortened in group A than group F, improve discharge rate in group A than group F, the incidence of postoperative complications,postoperative group A fatality rate of less than 28 days group F.Delirium confirmed(T0),all patients have abnormal electroencephalogram(EEG), as the treatment progresses, EEG abnormal rate is falling, when the T1 there was no statistically significant difference in group A and group F, T2 and T3 group A, F group difference was statistically significant.Two groups according to beta protein, interleukin 6, tumor necrosis factor alpha levels were higher when T0 there was no significant difference between groups,both in T1, T2 and T3 into decline, and in group A than group F falling fast, difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: Angong niuhuang wan auxiliary haloperidol in the treatment of delirium from security effectiveness than used alone good haloperidol,may be a new method of combination of Chinese and western medicine treatment of delirium.
