The Classified Analysis On Pediatric Post-infectious Cough Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Types

Objective:To explore Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome type in pediatric post-infectious cough(PIC)and to understand its distribution characteristics. Methods:To collect PIC patients in the clinic or hospital,parents and physician to fill in the questionnaire,to make detailed records,using the plain dialectics of wen-feng zhu professor to summarize the patient’s symptoms and signs,thus sum up the TCM of pediatric PIC. Results:The disease syndrome factor of infantile PIC include lung,epidermides,spleen,related liver and kidney,the nature of diseasese factor have Yin deficiency and heat,Qi deficiency and external wind,phlegm and dampness,Yang deficiency,etc. Conclusion:The TCM syndrome types of pediatric PIC have deficiency hyperactivity, wind-heat invading lung,lung spleen-deficiency,spleen afflicted with sputum dampness,lung Qi deficiency.Each type on the distribution of the age difference was statistical significance(P<0.05),the gender differences in the distribution have no statistical significance(P>0.05).Deficiency hyperactivity is the most in the pediatric PIC,the incidence is higher in summer and fall.
