Treatment Of Elderly Hypertension(Phlegm And Blood Stasis Type) By Tongmaijiangzhi Pills Combined With Western Medicine

【Objective】To investigate the clinical efficacy of the combined treatment of the combination of the pulse and lipid lowering pills in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis type).【Methods】 72 cases of patients were divided into treatment group 37 cases, control group 35 cases by table of random number, the control group using conventional western medicine treatment, treatment group on the basis of Western medicine treatment, but also take the pill, once 10 g, 2 times a day, 3 months observation period. Before and after the treatment of clinical observation, the use of statistical methods to compare and analyze the indicators before and after the treatment to determine the efficacy.【Results】 The total effective rate of clinical symptoms in the treatment group was 32, the total effective rate was 91.43%, and the clinical symptoms in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group(75%)(P=0.037). Treatment group, the clinical individual symptoms were improved, except the phlegm increase with one case the effect is not obvious who(85.71%), the remaining six were significantly improved(the total effective rate was 100%). In the treatment group vertigo, complexion dark, chest pain and numbness of limbs heavy, vein blood stasisfive symptom curative effect is obviously superior to the control group(P < 0.05). In the treatment group, the total effective rate of 31 cases, the total effective rate was 88.57%, significantly better than the control group(P=0.000), TC, LDL-C,TG, LP(a) in the treatment group were significantly lower than before treatment, HDL-C was significantly higher than before treatment(P < 0.05), and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P < 0.05). In the treatment group, the total effective rate of treatment group was 20 cases, effective 12 cases, the total effective rate was 91.43%, the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(78.13%)(P=0.042).In the treatment group, the treatment group blood(red blood cells, white blood cell, hemoglobin), liver function(alt, AST), blood glucose(Glu) and renal function(BUN, Cr) before and after treatment had no significant changes(P > 0.05). No adverse reactions were found in the two groups before and after treatment.【Conclusions】Tongmaijiangzhi pill combined with antihypertensive drugs in elderly patients with essential hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis type) has good efficacy and safety, especially to improve vertigo, vein blood stasis, complexion dark, chest tightness, gas plug, heavy limb numbness, fatigue, headache, palpitations symptoms has a significant role in the improvement, improve the treatment efficiency, to reduce the blood pressure and blood lipid in elderly patients with essential hypertension have a certain role, has high clinical application value.
