| Purposes of study:“The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang” is a monograph of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), and it’s a unique copy according to preliminary verification.The purpose of this study is to present “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”on the rare treasures Chengxiang Secretary ", research the written time, author and lost or error, and complete the correction of the contents of the book. Through studying the law of diagnosis and treatment and the principle of herbs used on diseases and syndromes of the book, summarizing characteristics of its academic thought, exploring the ideological origins and discussing the value and meaning, this subject will provide helps and supports for further clinical services.Research methods:1. Emendation and textual criticism: The study will certificate the lost or error,and complete correction of the contents of the book by using methods of collation and research in ancient books, like four methods of collation, exegesis,etc.,And it’ll verify the book from the content, fonts, materials, and other aspects of research, combined with the text, to infer the author and the book of the year.2. Arrangement and analysis: Reference to the national higher education of TCM "12th Five-Year" planning materials, the subject will classificate and arrange the prescription and syndrome of “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”, and summarize characteristics of diagnosis and rules of medication.3. Theoretical generalization Summary: With literature research methods, this study will collect the academic point of view of the involved physicians to refine the related thoughts, analysis of the origin of this book, and summarize its academic thoughts, especially the structure of the book, the characteristics of the text, the cognitions of diseases and syndromes, the features of prescriptions and so on.Research contents:The first part of this project is revised “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”, including:(1) the introduction of “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”, which introduced this book’s discovery process, the book’s version, the author and his life, the age of the book and geographical characteristics, and analyzed the value from different levels.(2)the arrangement of “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”, which specificated its content and format, explored and explained difficult and obscure words in the book for later analysis.The second part is analyzed the academic thoughts of “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang”, including:(1)extracted the Summary of academic thoughts, and shown the ideological characteristics according to the original.(2) explored the academic origin, described the relationship between the book and the classic, and emphasized the important.(3)detailed the diagnostic characteristics of this book based on the original text, to infer the author’s dialectical thinking and methods.(4)classified the content according to the modern Chinese planning materials, analyzed treatment provisions of the book in accordance with chapter contents’ order,researched medication rule, and discussed the clinical experience.Research results:1. “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang” is a late Qing Dynasty gynecological monograph, and the author is Li □biao, suspected from Jiangxi, then collected by Yang from Huaidetang. And in 2013 it appeared in painting market in Dali, Yunnan Province, after that it was handed in Professor Wang Zhihong of Yunnan University of TCM to study. Through researching, we find that the theory of this book are rigorous, the diagnosis and treatments are standard, which are characterized.The important is that the book is unique copy with great research value according to the preliminary verification.2. The judgement of literature is mainly based on “Rules for the collation of ancient books of TCM” in the collating; and in the content, the main use are three methods without contrast with other versions, because of the book is unique copy.And the catalogue and chapters are resorted in accordance with the general style to facilitate readers to review.3. “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang” is a nearly standard gynecological monograph, which involved many old Chinese medical books, fully quoted various theories, and widely collected diseases and prescriptions. From the clinical point of view, the author combined his own experience, to point characteristic academic ideas with a combination of clinical use. But few contents remain to be discussed, so scholars need to discard the dross and select the essential.4. The author submitted classic, respected Zhu Danxi, Chen Ziming, Xue Ji,Gong Xin, Gong Tingxian and so on, to learn widely from others strong points, and combined his own experience to accomplish this book.5. In the diagnosis, the book pay attention to pulse, observed the image and colour, cleared etiology, based on meridians syndrome-differentiation of eight,definited syndromes, and pointed out problems, to detail the mechanism.6. “The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang” in the clinical treatment is norm and nimble. Its reasoned and standard medications and prescriptions could be followed. With gynecological diseases as the main body, the context included pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology, infectious diseases, etc., and some common sense of life, folk customs, which reflected the people-oriented thought.Research conclusions:“The Esoteric Book of Lin Feng Cheng Xiang” is a late Qing Dynasty hand unique copy of gynaecology monograph, author is Li □biao, suspected from Jiangxi,and his life is unknown. Then it collected by Yang from Huaidetang, and in 2013 it appeared in painting market in Dali, Yunnan Province. The book has concise provisions, vivid statements, standard diagnosis and treatment, and fastidious prescriptions. And its contents follow classical Chinese ancient books after learning,inheriting and absorbing widely from others strong points and combined his own experience, so the play has quite characteristics and great academic value to research. |
