When ZHU studied typhoid fever, he started with Meridian Theory to explain the cause and pathogenesis of typhoid fever, and the relationship between three "yin" and three "yang " and six "jing" Taking meridian as proof of classification analysis in discriminate analysis and depending on "jing" to treat disease have significant effect on the development of Meridian Theory. When zhu treat the typhoid fever, he put emphasis on the outline which connect outside and inside, yin and yang. He thinks it is to diagnose one’s pulse rely on his symptom and then gather symptom and pulse together that is the evidence to diagnose typhoid fever. In addition, he stresses that the principle to write out a prescription must be1)To combine the symptom and prescription and to increase or decrease flexibly;2) To depend on the season;3)To depend on different people. He got great achievement not only in our Chinese medical theory but also in clinical skills, and specialized in the methods to boil herbs etc.
