To Observe The Clinical Efficacy Of Acupuncture For Adolescents With Mild-to-moderate Myopia Of Spleen Deficiency Type

Objective:On the basis of spleen deficiency type lower limbs distal find acupu ncture points,eyesight,diopter and axial length as observing target,to study the eff ects on scalp acupuncture,electric acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with electric acupuncture,to discuss the mechanism primarily and provide the basis for the clinical efficacy of acupuncture for adolescents with mild-to-moderate myopia o f spleen deficiency type.Methods:Ninety patients(rage in age from 6 to18) were d ebided into three groups,each group 30cases(Eyes myopia).Cases in the treatment gr oup were treated with scalp acupuncture combined with electric acupuncture,wherea s cases in the control one group were treated with scalp acupuncture,while,cases in the control two group were treated with electric acupuncture.The treatment in each group was done once a day for 10 d as a treatment course.They were treated for 3 courses and there was a 2-day interval between two courses.After 3 treatment co urses,all cases were re-examined for the short-term effect on distance vision、diopte r and axial length. Look at numerical changes before and after treatment.Results:A fter 3 treatment courses,the visual acuity and diopter in three groups were improve d,showing a statistical significance(P<0.05)and indicating a better effect in the trea tment group than that in the control groups,the vision and diopter difference betwe en three groups before and after treatment two comparison,there were no significant difference(P>0.05).But there was no significant difference of axial length in the ex perimental group(P>0.05).All children no adverse reactions occurred during the treat ment.Conclusion:Acupuncture is remarkably effective for adolescents with mild-to-m oderate myopia of spleen deficiency type and it can decrease uncorrected visual ac uity and diopter,with higher safety and worthy of further clinical application.
