Objective: To analysis the correlation between the polymorphisms of rs6734100 locus allele in SERPINE2 gene and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) in Xinjiang Han and Uyger population. Methods: select 88 cases Chinese Han patients with COPD(COPD group),100 cases Chinese Han patients without COPD(control group),88 cases Chinese Uyger patients with COPD(COPD group),100 cases Chinese Uyger patients without COPD(control group) in Xinjiang area from October 2014 to December2015.The genetic polymorphisms were genotyped by polymerase chain reaction-restricted fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).Results:(1) Compared to the control groups, there were no significant difference in the distributions of the genotypes and alleles of rs6734100 in COPD patients(all P>0.05).(2) Compared with GG genetype, CG and CC genetypes of the rs6734100 locus don,t dramatically decrease the risk of COPD(all P>0.05).(3)There was no significant association in the first second of forced expiration vital/ the forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)among GG,AG+CG the genotypes of the SERPINE2 rs6734100 site among COPD. Conclusion:The significant association was no found in rs6734100 allele of SERPINE2 gene in Xinjiang Han and Uyger population.
